I have made a couple of those black wire units from Amazon for my son's room & they are an absolute nightmare! They always fall apart & I'm constantly finding the black connectors on the floor 😭

Hey Helen, tell Phil The Last of Us 2 is super accurate as to what it's like walking around in downtown Seattle. It's where I'm from and I'm also playing it, so I have an advantage of knowing where I am without the map! So fun. Love the vlogs as always and if you ever get bored while he's playing video games feel free to binge my weekly vlogs too lol

As someone who has worked with individuals acutely infected with COVID, watching you interact with Phil made me nervous 😥. I was glad to hear that you’re double vaccinated, as it makes a HUGE difference. Hope Phil is feeling better this week and glad that his COVID was mild!!

This is literally what happened with my fiancé and I. He got the fever, body aches, heavy head feeling and lost of taste and smell and tested positive. I got just the headache, body aches, and head feeling heavy feeling and tested negative multiple times.
So you didn’t test positive at all? I’ve felt fine the whole time! Xxx

My brother in law is a doctor, he had covid last Xmas, his gf (they live together) is a nurse so tests all the time and she never got it. This was before anyone had vaccines too. Weird how some people just don't get it x
If I was putting that shoe rack together, I would have had to use a hammer, I would have smashed that thing into oblivion and put what was left of it in the bin 😠 hats off to Phil for keeping his cool and Miss Patience of the year, well done to you 👏👏👏👏 how you didn't turn psycho on the thing shows you're a total Saint 😹😹😹😹😹

Maybe you could put a black panel of fabric over the hole ine the jacket? That spans over the whole top of your back and ends right under the whole? That eay you can still use it😊
You could find a large patch of leather or another material and put it all over the back of your jacket.
I came back from visiting my family in Belgium and in Canada you need to stay 3 nights in a hotel if you are not double vaccinated. So I stayed 3 nights in a hotel and the rest of my quarantine at home. 6 days after I was allowed outside my partner tested positive and I negative. I got my 2nd dose the day before we tested so I had to stay 20 days in quarantine ‘cause I still was able to get covid from my partner. Even after his 10 days of isolation I tested negative. And we slept next to each other 😅 this virus is a weird thing

What kind of paint did you use for the doors? And did you sand them? Never saw an outcome that good. The doors looked so nice! Now I wanna paint mine too.

Helen you’ll probably not see this but in the very low and slight chance that you do, because the hole is in the back you could fix it by putting a really cute back patch or something.
Also, for the coat (rip btw) why not upcycle? Get a jacket and patchwork it up.. if anyone can make it work, you can haha

Your partner has covid so you should be isolating too, it is very irresponsible for you to be still be going out :/
In the UK you don’t have to if you’re double vaxxed
You don't need to isolate if someone in your household has covid, as long as you don't have symptoms you can still go to work, school etc
You might not need too but its certainly unethical
Wow so crazy. In my country if we have been around any exposure we have to isolate for 14 days if u been vaxxed or not.

Helen your not alone, I know MANY who have and partner or family don’t and won’t get it. Also know people who test positive but no symptoms or little and some with who can’t get out of bed. Everyone’s immune is different. 🤷🏻♀️

Aw Helen. Bit worrying that although Phil has covid he didn't seem to be isolating away from you in the house? I know you said you slept in separate rooms but that defeats the purpose if you are sharing communal areas for meals etc and then going out of the house. Lateral flows are not 100% accurate unfortunately. And also, going shopping after a PCR? Perhaps wait until you get a result. Just not great seeing this from someone I respect. 😕
They don't actually tell you to stay inside until you get your results. Also, they probably slept separately so they could both get some sleep.

Wherever possible, avoid using shared spaces such as kitchens and other living areas while others are present and take your meals back to your room to eat. Wear a face covering or a surgical mask when spending time in shared areas inside your home.' It's a pain but people need to be cautious.

Not hard to wait for a day or 2 until test results are back especially with the luxury of being self employed. As I said, just find it disappointing.
