Saw them in Nashville last March. One of my buddies is friends with the band, so we hung out both before and after the show. Shot pool with Johnny for about an hour and talked with Philly for quite some time too. I definitely recognize how lucky I was (haha).
Really amazing! I saw them on October 18th 2013 as opening band supporting HIM at the E-Werk at Cologne, great performance! Worth to buy the current CD ;-)
Speaks volumes to their talent that they can write such long instrumental songs without boring us (at least me!!). Should be a lesson to the vocal based rock outfits, they should write songs that are interesting also without vocals...
fuck yeah! I saw them open for Minus the bear right after this album came out and I waspsyched to see post rock at a show I wasn't expecting it at. Now I'm stoked to see them on KEXP
First time I heard Caspian was on West Virginia University's student radio station, WWVU (91.7 FM). The song was "Procellous." I was immediately in love. So much fascinating, trippy music coming out these days. I know the term "Post-Rock" seems a bit awkward, but whatever.
KEXP is totally the best music channel on youtube...
Audiotree is really cool as well, I would suggest you check them out! :)
One of the best band of post-rock ever!
Caspian.. I will never forget that name..
Pure genius, one of the premier post rock bands for sure
My band in high school opened for them in Chicago, they were really cool dudes.
At Lincoln Hall?
Caspian's music is gold for movies. I could hear a lot of their stuff fitting in with cinema!
good musical landscapes!!!

I heard they in Milan before Him's concert and they are great!
Awesome performance. Goose bumps achieved.

Такую Музыку можно слушать вечно...
I broke my neck on the last song.
amazing :)
R.I.P. Chris Friedrich :/
До чего же они крутые.
Nice Band.
Keep making music Chris Friedrich, we will join in time
Never heard The Raven before. Well, JESUS CHRIST THAT ENDING.. O_O
01:15 Volume Pedal/Swell + Delay (probably) + Reverb
Niiiiiice ^^
(( amazing ))
SO CREATIVE OMG :(
Nice! Reminds me of Sigur Ros :)
reverb doesnt add layers, just a longer tail/sustain to notes
du pur shoegaze !! enjoy it !!
postrock, check out Bright Like The Sun, very similar band.
i had see them on a him konzert that was amazing , wich song is at 26:00 ?
ok, I really dig this shit. It reminds me of EITS but I like this somewhat more. Nothing compares to the Mighty Mogwai though.. :-)
You know its good when no one in the band can keep their headphones on
"Don't bore us. Get to the chorus..." - Tom Petty
When will you be posting the Lucy Rose set? Holding out for that!
It's totally my type of music. what is it call?
@ 3:14
there is no post-rock... without reverb. =)
ive spent all this time thinking it was walking season. wtf
David Gilmour on guitar? Very nice band!
Drummer looks like Sean Bean!
I don't think that DJ realizes how lucky he is.
Hire seven more guitarists.
Why do they tape their straps?
cause they don't have straps-lock so it might come off while playing without the tape... shit happened to me ... not fun!
Fred Lemalin But strap locks are easy to get.
It’s a post rock thing. EITS and Mogwai do it too
una cosa...... The Raven
Use more delay.
probably a compressor, with some reverb.
Jonny Thrashburn ;)

wtf are that for tattoos on his lower arms?E
