  • Sing Sing Sing is one of the most iconic features for jazz clarinet!
But how do we improvise a solo over it, especially when the band breaks down to just clarinet and drums?
This free tutorial gives a few simple concepts to work on, utilizing our Harmonic Minor Scale.
If you'd like to dive deeper into some advanced approaches to practicing and improvising using the Harmonic Minor Scales, there is a new E-Book available called:
    HARMONIC MINOR SCALE BOOT CAMP
and this E-Book is available here:

This E-Book (with free backing tracks in all 12 keys) gives you years worth of exercises and licks to develop your technique and impro skills using this scale.

That was great, loved it, if you can find the time could you do a lesson (I am aware that it went very high) for us dummies that don't read, even if it is a simplified version, please 🙏
Everything that I know on this instrument I have learnt from you, I bought a buffet crampon, mostly out of memory of my grandfather who was a band leader and clarinet player, amongst many other instruments. I did not even think I could make it sound let alone hold a tune. I really missed out whilst he was alive, he taught me piano but unlike my brother in-law who learnt to play the tenor sax through his tuition I was too young to see it's appeal.
    Like deployed 👍

Thank you so much, Adrian. Great information and playing in the video. I was curious what Reed brand and strength do you use, and what brand is your clarinet? I am looking forward to have a great sound like you. Thanks again! 👍
