Not really, Rome conquered the hellenes and decided to keep their culture thus mixing it with its own, "Byzantium" was just a continuation of the Roman empire but without the western administrative part, they weren't their own empires, just two administrative parts that made up one empire and it was nothing new, emperors divided Rome on several occasions to make governance easier.

I decided that Serbia/Bosnia/Albania is now Sentry and Hungary is Engineer Tunis is now Pyro because Tunis is where Carthage the oldest of Rome's greatest enemies used to be located there and Pyros are the greatest enemy's to Spys
If Poland-Lithuania isn`t nessecary to form Rome, it would have made more sense to make the Engineer/Sentry to be England/Scotland or Castille/Aragorn or something.
