This was helpful, my husband was debating between this and another one. Thanks for the advice

Hey love your videos :) How are you finding this chainsaw now? I've heard some people saying the chain is too tight, & also some comments about people having problems with the EGO batteries. Would you buy it again?

      Hi Shane.
      Thank you for your feedback.
I found the chain not to get tight enough so I had to modify the mechanism. To get it tighter.
It is an amazing chainsaw. I have used stihl huskvana and it was as good on green wood. Didn’t quite have the power as the stihl on dead hard wood.
I mostly use it for hard hedge cut backs and it will go constantly for 2-4hours. (Or until my arms give way😂) overall I am extremely happy with it and own two of them. I would buy the arborist chainsaw but it has to be attached with cord which is a pain in the ass when in a tree and the cord gets caught on branches. I do prefer the stihl battery arborist chainsaw.
      Thanks again
      Scotty

When fully tightened on mine I noticed the bar still wiggles up and down. Does yours do that?

Hi, yes my bar is not tight and I find I can’t get a the chain as tight as I would like.

My chain however seems way too tight and overheats the wobbly bar.

Mate after you use it do you drain out your bar oil because I didn’t with mine 18 inch and it leaked everywhere don’t know if it’s a fault with it and if I’m supposed to drain after use

Hi Troy so sorry for the late response.
Unfortunately I have not found a chainsaw that doesn’t have major oil leaks. I have towels under them.
I have 6 chainsaws of various brands and all leak. 🙁
      Thanks
