we looked at the Three piece combo , RRP in USA at LOWES USD $299.00 , works out to be $ thats AUD $445 , but its sold at Bunnings for $474 with Powerpass or $499 Retail
Really nice system. I'm a little concerned about the additional moving parts compared to Milwaukee's packout system and additional weight, but looks super sleek and lots of potential! Who knows, maybe I'll have both systems. One for home and one for offsite!
Interesting. I wonder if they will bring them to new Zealand and if so who it will be available though. Personally I'll probably stick with packout mostly because of the availability of it here in NZ and the aftermarket accessories that people make for them
Tough Built have Milwaukee flogged in the accessory department! I haven't had my hands on this Stacktech yet but i am sure its almost the same as Packout in the strength department. Pricing is great and if Bunnings can supply enough of this in Australia it will definitely take a big chunk out of Milwaukee's market
You’re definitely right mate. It feels extremely similar but maybe a little thicker in spots which can be good and bad. I might have to weigh it also as it does feel heavier. It will be interesting to see how it all turns out and how or if Milwaukee responds
Any chance of a comparison between tough built and AEG quick stack 2? My biggest thing is the drawers for AEG have a lock slot whilst tough built doesn’t, what’s your opinion?
Am super keen for this to come, will probably wait for the rolling draws and I hope they come up with a tool bag like the dewalt system or maybe someone can make an adapter plate to
Great storage system, thanks for the video and review. I like the locking mechanism of the boxes. I don’t find it a real cheap option. Do you expect prices to go down after a while? Where did you get them in Australia?
This is what's stopping me. I see these going in our new alloy canopy for storage, ease of removal and weight saving compared to the big steel drawers with sliders. Maybe the little wheely tray could have the wheels removed and you can bolt it down that way?
I have been keen to buy a packout system but been waiting for a roller with drawers as a deep tool box is no use to me. I see Stackteck is supposed to have one coming out this year. Keen to see that. I actually like this brand better than Milwaukee.
hello i found your video and it was nice to watch, im from Poland but living in Norway. i saw one time on youtube that if you remowe screw on wooden table you have smal starage there. can you check its truth?
surely a create shouldn't be RRP for $99 that's insane! I don't mind the pricing for the rest but a box create should be priced around $50 each so that people can by more as a quick storage solution you chuck in the back of the shed to store random items.
I sort of agree as I thought the same when I bought my packout crate. The utility it holds is massive and you’re paying for the engineering with the setup and a mechanism plus profit so I don’t know how much it would cost to make. If these last similarly to packout I wouldn’t mind paying for it but that’s for myself and the scenarios I work in.
I agree but tough built have had the ability to make exactly what every other competitor has done and had released for ages and just been able to throw in their own twist or things people either modified themselves through 3d printing or other means into their designs and put an extra price tag on it. Personally is how I see it, but their gear does look good I run a few of their pouches and they are amazing clipping on and off a belt
I would like to see if my drills will fit in the 3 drawer if possible I have makita drill, impact and grinder but just keen to see if its like to Milwaukee drawers
I’ll definitely try this. I could fit that into my packout 3 drawers but moved the the 2 drawer for thats stuff. I have a hilti sds hammer drill, hammer drill vac and both drill driver and impact in one drawer. So fingers crossed we can do similar
You should dig into the toolbelt clip tech more. (Setting up 3 pouches specialised for different belts, that you clip onto the packout system when not in use). E.g. prewire, fault finding, fitting off.
wow, they are more expensive than the packout? i'm really dissapointed with that, i was hoping they would be cheaper and cause milwaukee to review their prices, guess i'll just stick to packout
I haven’t looked at it all and done a proper comparison, but most things seem cheaper. The 3 stack is a lot cheaper. I’m keen to do the comparison to see
@@AddictedtoTools yeah it is, just the drawers where more but i just noticed sydney tools and total toold have upped the price of them by $62!!! outrageous!! im genuinely mad, was going to buy a heap more for my new home garage but guess ill be going stacktech now!
Yeah mate. I’m the majority of the way through renovating the house. As a father and someone that works as an electrician 40+hrs and runs a business for another 40hrs, the couple of lights aren’t a priority. Not until we finish the render after we can afford it. Cheers for the feedback.
That’s a fair point if you can’t justify it for the work you do. For myself, as there’s nothing else that is like it, that lasts and helps with the work that I do. The product pays for itself over time. It’s definitely not for everyone and every work environment. So for yourself (I’m not sure what work you do or how you do it) it may not be worth the price.
So much coolness here...really digging this system.
I really hope this arrives in the UK eventually! Thanks for the vid and the pricing info!
This is amazing. I have to get this. Currently using the Dewalt system. This is way more customizable..
if the cooler came as a 12V fridge/freezer addition like a Kings small form factor fridges it'll be a winner!

I'd love to see a like for like comparison to the packout as much as size and cost.
Will do mate. I’ve looked at a few of the prices and it seems a good percentage cheaper. Keen to do an over all
Yeah same here
Great video, just started my StackTech collection. Looking at the drawers next. What weight are the draw systems rated to carry?
The 3 drawer system is rated to 22.6kg
Really nice system. I'm a little concerned about the additional moving parts compared to Milwaukee's packout system and additional weight, but looks super sleek and lots of potential! Who knows, maybe I'll have both systems. One for home and one for offsite!
What a difference in value compared to the purchasing power and minimum wage of each country, I'm Brazilian and for us these kits are very expensive
Interesting. I wonder if they will bring them to new Zealand and if so who it will be available though. Personally I'll probably stick with packout mostly because of the availability of it here in NZ and the aftermarket accessories that people make for them
I want it here now 😅
StachTech will be available in NZ at the end of May, exclusively through Bunnings!

Super keen to see how well the AEG gear fits in with the draws
Every man’s dream to have the crates from sci-fi spaceships. I just bought some 🤤🤤🤤
Bought the wheeled box and the drawers to start with, we’ll see how they go on the job.
Any feedback after a few months? Keen to hear from someone who has used them on site for a bit
Am super keen for this to come, will probably wait for the rolling draws and I hope they come up with a tool bag like the dewalt system or maybe someone can make an adapter plate to
What sort of tool bag. As the two I showed clip in. All this is available now in some stores and slowly being released
Great storage system, thanks for the video and review. I like the locking mechanism of the boxes. I don’t find it a real cheap option. Do you expect prices to go down after a while? Where did you get them in Australia?
Bunnings and Tool Kit Depot sell them.
Tool Kit Depot sells them. Unless it’s a brand that gets excluded, I wait till they run the 20% store credit sales.
Deck them out with electrical contracting stuff. Gpos, plates, jboxes, conduit bits ect even see how they fit
And battery tools
So no mounting plate yet to bolt down to hold the drawer’s from moving when driving
This is what's stopping me. I see these going in our new alloy canopy for storage, ease of removal and weight saving compared to the big steel drawers with sliders. Maybe the little wheely tray could have the wheels removed and you can bolt it down that way?
I'm sure they could do slightly longer arms for the roll holder to hold bigger rolls, setup looks sick though i'd like to see how you kit them out.
That’s what I was wondering. Would have to have good weight in the setup though so it does topple over
Hi I am just wondering what angle grinder blade is good for cutting timber steel copper etc all in one cheapest best blade
I have been keen to buy a packout system but been waiting for a roller with drawers as a deep tool box is no use to me. I see Stackteck is supposed to have one coming out this year. Keen to see that. I actually like this brand better than Milwaukee.
sheds lookin great . like its been their forever
Cheers mate. It’s definitely full and getting some use. I really can’t wait to concentrate on the inside upgrade
Any chance youve got you hands on the 2-IN-1
CONVERTIBLE
HAND TRUCK. I dont think its out in Aus yet?
Any idea if the stack tech Transporter trolley will be available for purchase in Australia ?
Hey mate, I believe 2025 it should be available.
Too bad those drawers don’t have a lock function
where did u buy these from
bunnings seems to only have 3 boxes currently
Bunnings and tkd. Depends on which ones. They have only just started to roll them out
Do they not have a lock spot? How can you lock it like milwaukee?
I know the stuff with drawers and everything are expensive but 99 dollars for a fuckin plastic crate, come on now.
How easy do you reckon it would be to remove the logos with acetone? The toolpro logos come off quite easily and I was wondering about these?
As at August 2024

hello
i found your video and it was nice to watch, im from Poland but living in Norway.
i saw one time on youtube that if you remowe screw on wooden table you have smal starage there. can you check its truth?
They should introduce a way to lock the boxes. One down side of these
Hi there, most of the StachTech boxes are lockable with a padlock or something similar. The only boxes that are not lockable are the draw boxes.
Stacktech also don't have metal rings for added strength and durability
really nice!
Do they do a XL draw
Why are these never in stock in the US???

All the side attachments is what milwaukee should have done

I saw these at Bunnings, but I wasn’t too impressed.. the plastic felt really thin and weak. I think the AEG tool boxes are more durable
Seems to me it’s more expensive no? The boxes and stuff separate seem more expensive
Some is a little more. The majority especially the 3 piece looks cheaper. I’ll have to do a proper side by side though
Did you get the roller box as a drawer? Says it’s in there 2024 release?
Na the rolling drawers are part of 2025 with 4 other drawers
Like to see it with dewalt power tools
In the States, the price is half of what he said for everything. Paying double down there.
Yep. After the currency exchange, chipping costs, import taxes, gst, company costs and profit, we pay a lot more for most things
Price I'll gladly pay if it means not having to live in the US.
Any Idea when there are been released in Europe (Ireland 🇮🇪 ) ?
No I’m not sorry. Is there a toughbuilt over there already?
No, not really. Some pouches very small selection.
Are these exclusive to bunnings and TKD?
I presume at this time they are as I haven’t seen anyone else selling toughbuilt.
What does TKD stand for?
Tool kit depot

Powerpass with bunning and its cheaper.
I know these are for professionals, but wow, $100 for a crate 🤯
This is in Australia
So you have all these tools and your wires are hanging out the wall with no lights… come on mate..

Expensive plastic garbage
Hey rob, I’m interested in why you would describe it as garbage? Cheers
@@AddictedtoTools I can put wheels on a plastic tub.
Sure can. I’m not sure how that answers the question though.
@@AddictedtoTools the price point for all these types of products are way too high.
