That race shows that the problems with the cars and tyres often come down to the time of day. That was the same tyre as the spring race and there was little wear and passing. I agree he’s a great driver, but he doesn’t deserve the title unless he wins it. There are a few other drivers who are just as talented but don’t have the car or team Larson has.
I don't hate him at all but I will say this he does not deserve to be in the playoffs when he's straight up blew off the Coca-Cola 600. I don't care if he was in the Indy 500 or not it doesn't matter he blew off one of our races for a rival series he does not belong in the playoffs.

I don't think anybody in the field could have drove the T-Rex car and I'm not a Gordon fan that's 90s horsepower and that's a 90s stock car, not a 550 Matchbox car!
Larson had an almost 7 second (practically half the track) lead over second place here. Disagree if you will, but when the competition is basically between the middle of the field and you know who's gonna win not even halfway through, I'm sorry, but that makes races REALLY boring for me. Bristol is very 50/50 now and this was one for the lower 50% in my opinion. I'm not a Larson fan because he's basically the present day Jimmie Johnson, but I'm calling it right now, he's going to win the championship.
I don't understand HOW Hamlin could be -6 points at the start of the race and Elliot is +30 , but Hamlin is AHEAD in points at the end of the race, even though Elliot finished in front of Hamlin ???
Bristol was the CUTOFF race where 16 becomes 12. After each cutoff race the points for the field resets to x000 points - then you add in the playoff points you won during regular season. (5 points for a win, 1 point for a stage win, 15 points (Tyler Reddick) winning the regular season, etc.). Tyler Reddick didn't do well in Bristol, but all he had to do was survive the 13th position and he climbs way up due to: the reset points, adding in his regular season points, bam he is 3rd again. Now he needs to survive being 9th.
I went to this race last night. I won't say the race was horrible but Larson dominated the whole dang thing which is boring and there wasn't many cautions either to really shake things up.
