Here second mother and the main lead is good friends not like the common enemy type.The only thing I felt about the drama is,they lagged the drama just like a rubber band😟I felt like this have more than one climax.If you are a little bit patient you can skip and watch😜

Just finished 30 episodes. Beautiful Drama though at times Campy. Get ready to get your heart ripped out and stomped on. First half of series is excellent. Then everything goes “off the rails” and I was so confused as to what the heck was going on, and who was honest and who was evil. Be prepared to rewind 20 times just so you can figure out who is attacking who, because they are all wearing black. The MALE writers need a good scolding, in the art of how not to offend women by insulting their target market. We are smart and capable. Is that the Chinese culture? To treat women as stupid? But I guess you would not have a suspenseful Chinese Drama without degrading women’s intelligence. The architecture and set design takes you back in time. The social customs are so proper and amusing. The two males leads are eye candy and the talent is beyond many previous Chinese Dramas. ( except the award winning Ruyi’s Royal Love and Yanxi Palace ). The lead actress is a natural talent and flawless beauty. The Empress Dowager is what every actor aspires to be: the top in their craft. She was so convincing that I hate her. Enjoy!
