- In today's #fashion video, I'm sharing the first unboxing of a few pieces I purchased from @louisvuitton's Remix Collection. This video features the Louis Vuitton Sunset which is a reissue of the Louis Vuitton Mini Pleaty. Got the sunset and zippy coin purse. I can’t skip this collection for the exact reason you mentioned. It’s so nostalgic. Didn’t have access to it back then because I was way too young, now it’s our time🎉
I knew I wouldn’t be the only person who felt the same. I’m trilled to finally add some LV denim pieces to my collection.
Have you been using the sunset?
I live on the east coast so it’s not the best season for it but who cares , I try to use it as much as possible. Can’t wait for spring!
I haven’t been able to use mine because I’m NYC and I’m not going to take it out while I slip and slide on black ice. 😂

Don't like the way that looks on your shoulder either.
You might want to consider doing what I did...
I have the original LV Mini Pleaty and it was just designed as a shoulder bag.
Wanted to make it a crossbody bag so I'd have two options , So...
I ordered a Vachetta Crossbody Strap from LV, tucked the shoulder strap inside the
slip pocket in the interior and attached the shoulder strap to the rings on each end of the bag.
It worked like a charm!
If you already have an LV crossbody bag that has a detachable Vachetta Strap maybe that would work also?
Had so many people stop me and ask if it was a new style of the Mini Pleaty.
I would just tell them what I had done and they liked the idea.
Yes, that’s a great idea. There are so many businesses out there that sell clips and chains so you can easily switch out straps on your bags. I’ll definitely look into it.

Thinking about getting it and having a shoemaker make the strap removable on the one side where it's attached. I would then use a different strap perhaps the canvas one from the Multi Pochette or a chain strap as I don't like wearing leather. Other than that love the bag.

I saw in Meridith's video that you are able to unbuckle the one side and attach it the additional strap without it having the clip at the top. I dont know how to explain it. I dont know if u have the mini palms spring and how u can unclip the buckles n make the straps shorter.. hmm i dont know of u understand what i am saying. But there is a different way so the clip is not at the top that way
Hey there! I just watched Living Lux With Meredith’s video and can confirm the clip is at the top. There’s no other way to attach the additional strap. Meredith placed the strap over her right shoulder with the bag sitting in front of her lap/left hip (the same way I had it when I showed the bag as a crossbody) so the buckle doesn’t show because it’s behind the shoulder, but the clip is still at the top.

They should’ve used a different clasp to attach the 2nd strap… something smaller and more discreet. The dog leash clasp is huge and makes it so noticeable that it looks DIY. I love the bag but I’m a crossbody girl at heart unfortunately
