Miniature Railways of Great Britain The Gravesend Model Marine and Engineering Society Apri

Another series of railways visited that are new to me 2017,part one is a visit to the Gravesend Model Marine & Engineering Society.
My cousin Jim York is a member so I contacted him and we arranged to meet up for a run before the public had arrived.Jim turned up with a lovely L.N.E.R A3 pacific "COLOMBO" which ran very well.
The track is set out in a very well kept area and the guys were very friendly,you must make a visit if you are in the area.
Thank you again Jim and we hope we can meet up again soon for another run.

When we were kids we went trainspotting with Jim and my other Cousins great days.Colombo ran very well Steve,Jim has got to paint the tender to match the loco and she will be a stunner........Regards Chris

Hi Tony,Pity we couldn't have stayed longer to film more loco's in action as they looked very impressive.You should make a visit they will make you very welcome,they open to the public from 14.00 but they have guys at the site earlier than that,best to go earlier then you can get a look around the loco's..........Best regards Chris

Lovely site very well kept by the members.It was nice to meet up with Jim and he has a reputation for being a fast driver but A3 likes to get a move on.........Regards Chris
