Don't think the young guy with the yellow battery would like being called over 65's. I know what you mean though, we are all struggling to attract young members, they will come and drive then find out how hard it is to build or how expensive they are to buy. The schools don't teach engineering now, that would sow the seed into the hobby and help a lot. It is happening in every activity not just Railways, the kids just won't get involved.
