"gak pedes kok" -Orang jawa
JAWA
Cia ke trigger 😂
It's me
*Nod*
-Orang indonesia
It's kind of ironic because Javanese often recognize by their sweet food (e.g gudeg). But when it comes to sambal (chili sauce), they don't hold back lol
That's why they have those sweet food: it cancels out the spicy ones.
But the Javanese sambal doesn't taste that spicy in the standard of the Sumatran people where almost all Sumatran food is spicy, and the sambal from Sumatra is even spicier
My father is from padang, when he make the padang version of sambal...
Its really spicy but i like the tase :((
i love nasi padang
The waitress actually came back to her to roast her lmao
True. Spicyness is relative. But everytime you taste something too spicy, you want to taste it again lol
Too True. I got Spicy noodles from amazon and my dad kept eating them. Complain about being too spicy and then proceed to eat more.
No! Its coz you're Indonesian thats it! Spicy is not bad thing thou don't get mw wrong 😂
@@Tiggy110 basically, eating spicy foods is like being in a toxic relationship.
Truly Bule moment, lol...and yea, some food can be painful to eat but also delicious, RIP stomach and down there...
Nizar
It’s....Part.....of the.....Experien-
there's not enough spice for Javanese
i feel attacked
I'm half Javanese and Betawi and I'm weak when Spicy foods are coming ;-;
There's so much spice in it, the VOC invade the fucking plate
Sumatra people : is it even spicy? I even feel this sambal is sweet
"untuk standar bule" lmao
Most of central and east Javanese people really take liking spicy food. Even some parent take her children eat some spicy food for training, and im one of those children who take training spicy food 🤣
also eating spicy food heals cold lol
Spicy food can makes you say
"R" clearly they said
Banyak komen bilang pedesnya jawa masih kalah dibanding daerah lain, dari sumatera, sulawesi dll.
Lah kan orang jawa juga udah bilang "Ini gak pedes kok" Wkwk
"eating well can kill you slowly" my mom (with her japanese culture)
but my dad is 100% javanese people said "if from Javanese culture, people cannot be called adults before they can eat spicy food"
wtf
Nah that is kinda true...
Its kinda joking like "aww look at you now...you are already adult on eating chili...)
actually central java is more to sweet than spicy. sure some of it are spicy as fuck, but most of the culinary in central java are sweet. and then comes east java who actually barbaric enough to say with a poker face that "this isn't spicy, you weak" but the actual food itself is like 100 chilies, and still adding more chili to their food.
i can confirm, as a guy who born in east java, and then go to college at central java, it was a heaven because the food itself ar sweet, not like in east java when the food literally screams "FUCK YOU, IMMA RUIN YOUR BODY" kinda in your face
What can you say about West Java cuisine?
@@thenameisgsarci west Java food kinda have sour and spicy in their food, but not as extreme as east Java even some culinary in west Java is ridiculously sour or spicy
Help, i am thinking something indecent when you say "FUCK YOU, IMMA RHIN YOUT BODY"
I am jakarta whose college in east...
My parents even shock by the amount spiciness that i can handle when coming back home....
(Also when tried spicy stuff on my place lol)
Gapapa Han. Aku yg org Indo juga ga kuat makan pedas. Mulut & perut auto berasa perih xD
Jadi keingetan temen-temen daerah lain bilang pedasnya org Jawa ga ada apa-apanya krn di sini pedas manis '-')
Gw juga nih..
Apalagi pas bokap bikin sambal pake banyak cabe rawit & cabe setan. Ga deh..
Pedesnya orang jawa
Dibanding sma daerah Medan, Manado, Dll
Lebih parah mereka sbnrnya
Seandainya si Hana makan mskan Medan atau Manado, itu bukan lemes lgi yg ada si Hana
Mungkin bner2 udh jdi pencahar yg alami mlhan, wkwk
The fact that javanese people are known to like sweet dish, and not very good on handling spicy things, while sumatrans are better at that, means that if hana ate sumatran food, it would be much worse
She should come to Medan, our foods are spicy extraordinaire. Or basically any place in Sumatra.
also that guy who said "MAKAN MI SETAN" at 6:00 is straight up evil. That shit is spicy for the sake of spicy.
Indeed. Taste of Medan food will make your mouth hot hot 😂😂😂
@@RenShinomiya121 some people just want to see others to suffer XD
From the northern tip to the southern most, Sumatrans don’t half ass it when it comes to spicy.
@@6lVAnAVl9 to be honest, the problem with spicy food to enjoy it, you need to get used to it first, that means you need to go through pain and suffering of your mouth burning, welp I have survived that and now I like spicy food even though I hate it while I was younger, although I still cant handle Recheese Lv 5 or Ayam Geprek Lv 5, both of those are just made for the purpose of pain and suffering.
finally this is got clipped
7:32 taste bud
Huwuh~ gK pEdEs KoK~ iNi MaNiS kOk~
Gurame food,... so pellets?
I think she mean Gurame fish
She gotta step up the game with either Manado dish or actual Padang dish
Your tongue says no, but your tongue says yes
More like your mouth says no, but your tongue says yes
Mouth says no, your tongue says yes, your stomach would like to call Stomach Protective Services.
When I was a kid, I can't even handle normal Indomie chilli powder (it taste like nothing now, even pepper is spicier)
Unfortunately (or actually, fortunately) my dad is from Menado and mom is from Medan, I CAN ONLY EAT HIGH LEVEL OF SPICY FOOD WHEN THERES A FAMILY GATHERING
Finally, around Senior High School, I can finally challenge those spicy foods (but with lots of sweat after eating it)
If you live in Indonesia long enough, you can handle spicy food after some time
I always avoid spicy food as a kid, now I can quite eat it now thanks to my dad who put pepper in any soup dishes he cooks, then leveling up to buying me my favorite bread but with sambel on it, and finally put real chili in my veggies.
seumur hidup makanan dirumah ortu selalu ga pedes (takut anaknya ga mau makan karena kepedesan lol). alhasil sampe sekarang kalo ke restoran cuma kuat pedesnya kalo bilang "pedes nya kurangin dikit ya"
"Gak pedes kok" orang sumatera
Oh, that's a new one. The word "asin" on my language is just salt but in Indo, it's salty. I actually learn something new everytime I watch her old/current streams.
The "salt" object is "garam" in Indonesia, while for the "salty" taste it's asin
asinan looks so similar to what bangka people call sayur asem
and it looks so similar too
if it is the same thing, asinan doesn’t even have any spiciness to it, it just tastes sour
"no.. no spicy"
but
cook with chilies or something spices with spicy taste.
XD
I remembered my friend's cousin made one heck of a delicious spicy fried rice. It's horribly spicy to the point where I chugged 2 litres of milk, 5 spoonful of sugar, and 3 spoonful of honey to get rid of the heat. I finished the entire plate because at the time, the only way to make the spice bearable is to keep eating that shit. Once you stop, your mouth, tongue, lips, throat, and your digestive systems are fucked.
another version of
HOT FOOD
You can bring me any spicy food
But I will cry immediately if someone offered me hot food
Ahhh hana embracing the indonesian foods
Gurame emang bikin ngantuk wkowkowkowko
Saran , abis makan gurame jangan nyetir
Daily "bule" struggles.. Literally whenever you go to any local food restaurants, i feel bad for every foreigners who came here 😂
You know these guys still doing this fire noodle challenge on youtube. The thing is it's not even pretty spicy and I know because I ate them. So many people are not used to spicy things.
Not being able to eat spicy food really hobbles your ability to enjoy Indonesian cuisine. Source: my brother can't handle spicy, like at all.
0:51 its red but its not spicy. But, if your friends from Indonesia say its not spicy,,,, you need be careful
@Aomine Daiki Not exclusive to Javanese people. Us lads in Sumatra also does this lmao.
Also, if Indonesian said it's spicy
Javanese here, can confirm. Have a friend that has zero tolerance with any spicy food, maybe similar to Hana's. Like, she can't even stand a small amount of spiciness
Eating really spicy food is like being Masochist but with a terrible aftermath.
Fair enough
gak pedes kok never trust even you see one chili on that dish then the waiter said gak pedes kok trust me they lied!!
They don't lie, but they have high standards of spicy
Asinan mah emang gak pedes, lebih ke asem
Nama Asinan, Keliatan Pedes, tapi Rasanya Asem
@@dex6528 iya, sama kek kimchi, merah tp asem
Wait gimana????? Daku belum pernah ngerasain lol😂😂
@Aomine Daiki ....dahlah 😂😂😂 tengkyuu food review nya 😯😄
Actually central Java dishes are not spicy (around Jogja & Solo?) the taste more sweet.
Miyu : "dasar bule"
Dont worry we southeast asians have cried, sweat due to spiciness and we like it.
S.E Asia = Maso much? Lol
kalo sering-sering ntar terbiasa jadi ga pedes lagi
JAWA MOMENT !
hana takut sama orang jawa
hana takut sama orang jawa
aku orang indo aja ga kuat pedes Han... selain ga kuat perutnya, aku ga suka bau cabenya juga -_-
if Hana goes to North Sulawesi....she'll probably die.coz there..eat everything with chili.the orange small fat one.it's extremely spicy.
minahasan people have immunity for spicy food all of the food there is just spicy food, little kid there crying if the food dont have enough spiciness
the signs of becoming a M
Well indonesian spicy food maybe like circle of devil its was spicy that making you want to cry but its make you still want to eat it again and again even tho its was soo spicy
If this gurame food is spicy, how about my father's sambal (like Chili paste)? It's more than 30 piece of bird eye's Chilli, 10 piece of standard Chili and 5 piece of bhut jolokia (in Indonesia is called cabe setan) means Devil's Chili) and no sugar. My mother and i can't handle it, especially my mother (my mother and i can't handle too much spicy, maybe just like like a foreigner's standard)
Hana goes 🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞
*gazes downward to my red buldak-bokkeum-myeon*
... condolences Hana. Yer using Javanese measurement of spiciness, so 99% of the thing you've been recommend to WILL be satan's balls level of hot.
Its also a filipino word for salt
Rip desk-kun
So it is Indonesian version of Tacos
Just like fire noodles, deathly spicy for the uninitiated, but good nonetheless.
Asin in phil is also salt
Salt is more on garam (object)
Salty = Asin
Di indonesia emang gitu lu gak bisa makan pedes dianggap penakut kadang ada orang dikucilkan karna gak bisa makan pedes wkwkwk
2:08 idk
Gw Jawa tengah Pedes nya pilih pilih.........wkwkwk....
Dan gw di takuti hana....Damn 😂🔥
It's not spicy
Yeah, 4 (sometimes more than 5 if my dad cook it) chillies and blended with tomatos, garlics, onions, and pepper
Cool
iang orang jawa, makan tanpa sambal yang pedas itu nggak enak
