Growing up there was a music shop downtown in my tiny town, every Wednesday my dad would go hang out with a bunch of guys and play music outside til it got late. This one is the one song I actually remember from when they used to do that, haven't been back since I was in high-school
on the night of my high school graduation, my family took me to black bear diner and i had a sobbing breakdown in the bathroom. this song was playing over the speakers. the resulting emotion was as indescribable as you'd expect
The violin duet starting at 4:21 is so beautiful. I listened to this song so many times, and didn’t realize the true greatness of that part until recently
This song reminds me of the times when I would go on vacations with my best friend and her family. We would drive out to the country and stay in a cabin and listen to this song. It brings me pure joy

Not a big country fan, but this is one of the country songs I just love. So catchy, love the melody and you can just feel the emotion in it. Thank you Darius Rucker for this masterpiece.
I remember learning a dance to this song in high school for choir. I was struggling really hard mentally back then and was so proud of myself for being able to learn the dance. Since then, I have forgotten most of the choreography, but dancing is still a major part of my life that I never want to lose. I think this song was the start of my love for dance
This song is a really close one to my family because my dads side sings country all the time and even go to country competitions to sing and compete. We sang this song at my cousins funeral when he was nine because he always loved country music and loved this song:)
His reason of his death is unknown till this day but all we know is that he died in his sleep. He had two other siblings and he was the youngest. His older sister passed away because of cancer at the age of nine as well. There is only 1 child left in that family and they are still alive till this day.
My grandfather passed away in May of 2020 due to kidney failure, and sometimes this song would be on when I entered his home. This song always reminds me of him. He was such a good veteran in Vietnam. ❤Miss you and love you Pappy! ❤

I just lost my mom 3 days before Christmas 😥 This song gave me smiles everytime my mom and I would sing it together and I know your looking down watching over me. RIP Mom :(
I went to the Daytona 500 this year and my most vivid memory of it is Darius Rucker playing this song pre race. I didn’t stay for the second day after it got rained out so this is the most vivid memory I have of the whole thing. The whole speedway singing song with him, rockin back and forth, magic.
I remember dancing with my dad when I was younger to this song during a rodeo he took me to. It's still one of the best memories I have and I will keep it close to my heart forever💖
This song my all time favorite and always brings me down to my knees bc I haven’t seen my mother in 12 years and I’m always grateful for my country music... pure and genuine.
I don’t listen to a ton of country, but when I heard this on the radio when it came out I completely forgot about it until now and I forgot how good country music can be

I just came back from Philmont scout ranch just 3 weeks ago. They sang this song at the closing campfire. This brings back one of the best memories from that trip.
This is the theme song of one of Alaska's pet stores and the pet store was also called wagon wheel
I'm pretty sure, I'm apart of the few young teenagers that still love this song. I will always love this song.
I was born in cherokee North Carolina and raised till I was 7 everytime I went to my uncle's they always be bumpin dis💙💯
My brother killed himself a few days ago, he used to sing this song for me and the family. Now he's singing it up in heaven.
Really sorry for your loss... your brother had a good taste in music

I just lost my mom 3 days before Christmas 😥 This song gave me smiles everytime my mom and I would sing it together and I know your looking down watching over me. RIP Mom :(

when I was 6 I was raised by country years past
and I found all the music I love listening to
This song always makes me happy❤❤
I went to the Daytona 500 this year and my most vivid memory of it is Darius Rucker playing this song pre race. I didn’t stay for the second day after it got rained out so this is the most vivid memory I have of the whole thing. The whole speedway singing song with him, rockin back and forth, magic.
I remember dancing with my dad when I was younger to this song during a rodeo he took me to. It's still one of the best memories I have and I will keep it close to my heart forever💖
My friend, her dad and I used to sing this and this brings back so many memories.....
Right 😃😃
This song my all time favorite and always brings me down to my knees bc I haven’t seen my mother in 12 years and I’m always grateful for my country music... pure and genuine.

I love this song so much it just makes you feel so good
This song deserves 10 million likes .The older it gets the sweeter it becomes
Reminds me of my grandma🥺😢💖
I don’t listen to a ton of country, but when I heard this on the radio when it came out I completely forgot about it until now and I forgot how good country music can be
ya'll should not judge people by the color their skin I think he's awesome and anyone can be a country singer
who said anything to discriminate him?
Precisely right he is awesome
Reiss Williams alot of people do think only white people can do country music
why would anyone judge him by the colour of his skin though racism should be dead by now
snap.out.of.it. Bc racism is practically dead now but it goes in wrong way now. When you call black person black IT can be racism, when you call him idiot it also can be called for many racism even if you didn't said this bc od his skin but intelligence. I'm very opposite to racism but to something like this also.
Ooohhh how i enjoy this song.
Much love from Zimbabwe Darius
This is a fun song to dance the Irish Slush line dance!!
