Norman Evans - Auntie Doleful - 1937

Norman Evans, Water Rat 457.
Born 11th June 1901 in Rochdale, Lancashire, Evans was a unique stage and radio comedian. Probably best remembered for his sketches entitled "Over the Garden Wall", playing the character Fanny Fairbottom.
He died in Blackpool, 25 November 1962
