Please help spread the word, their label does not do very much to promote them outside of Asia, and as you can hear for yourself they very much deserve to be one of the bigger names in the metal genre.

You know, sometimes I wonder why some Japanese bands spell their band names in all caps, but with this band, it seems completely appropriate. They're not Lovebites...they're LOVEBITES. The guitarists don't play guitars; they play GUITARS. The singer doesn't sing; she SINGS. The drummer is DRUMMING. The bassist is PLAYING BASS.

このバンドは全ての楽器が非常に高いレベルで解放されていると思います。特にツインギターの破壊力が半端じゃない。ボーカルの音域に広さにも驚かされました。間違いなく今の日本のハード（メタル）ロックは世界でも最高域にあると思います。

Japan really has some accomplished musicians in Metal and Jpop! Unlike KPop groups who only sing and don’t really have artists who sing AND play instruments, they seem to solely be based on singing and dancing (rather badly as their own fans say they mess up their choreography), Japanese artists do both.
Japan has talented singers and musicians and most of their band members play more than one instrument.
These ladies are truly amazing and talented. The lead singer was formerly a R&B singer and she’s also a former ballerina. We all know Miyako is a trained classical pianist as well as she kills it on guitar.
You are truly entertained when you watch Love Bites, Band Maid and awesome One Ok Rock!
The thing is that kpop artist dance and sing well,but that is the result of years and years of training,diets,no sleep and other very cruel things made by their agencies.
Korean does have that kind of artist. Checkout Synssnake dude. if you like Lovebites, you'll love synssnake

So emotional!! The song that introduced me to LOVEBITES, and I was, no, I still am blown away whenever I listen to them guitar battle. Midori and Miyako quickly became two of my most favorite shredders. Kinda miss Midori with this hairstyle lol.
It's like they found the lost tapes for the most epic song that didn't make it on Iron Maidens 'Somewhere in Time' album and made the song their own.

This video proves that LOVEBITES can play in a garage and still look amazing. Miyako moves a lot more in this video than other ones. They are my favorite metal band these days.

Amazing song. And the song that turned me into a real fan of Lovebites. One of the best metal songs I had heard in years. Asami's vocals are belting, and that dual guitar solo is just jaw dropping. Absolutely killer!!
Yeah I was thinking that so often back in the day there would be a lead guitarist and a rhythm guitarist in a band. And if you ever saw a video they were generally either a bunch of ugly fellahs, or a bunch of pretty fellahs all glammed up. Now you know after enjoying Midori's solo you get more from Miyako

My very first Lovebites song, found it not too long after its release. When the "Rising" Music Video came out I really digged in for what it would become my favorite power metal(and thrash too) of the last 5 years.

今まではMiyako, Miho, Mao という個性の違う作曲者が3人もいたのがLOVEBITESに駄作なしの最大の要因だったが、スラッシュ系(Hammer, Break,Thunder等)を得意としたMihoが抜けた今、後任者にスラッシュ系の作曲も求めるのか、SetのようにMiyakoが補うのか、それともMidori Asami曲で勝負するのか？ただあまりに洗練されすぎて,ベタなスラッシュ曲がなくなるのはイヤかな🎵あとHaru-Pの熱い新曲もそろそろ聴きたい☺⤴

I really appreciate uploading this video without any ads. To me, this is one of the best songs in the worldwide metal history, different, fresh, jaw-dropping… and gorgeous. Those twin lead guitar solos by Midori and Miyako are already legendary, in just five years. I remember when I watched this video (by a reaction channel) a little more than two years ago and I just couldn’t believe my eyes; actually I’m still in owe. I just cannot wait for their comeback.
I’ve already purchased the Blue-Rays of “Daughters of the dawn”, “Five of a kind” and “Heavy metal never dies”, and the “Electric pentagram” CD that includes the DVD of their performance at Wacken, Germany, 2018. Quite expensive but definitely worth it.
