    Thank you, very nice. May I suggest that in your future videos you will include info about the dog parks? For some of us it might be more important than schools 😀

      I love it! I've been secretly fiming dog parks for years, some almost ready to go. Thank you sooooo much for your idea and encouragement.

    Aurora Highlands is not National Landing. National Landing comprises Crystal City and Pentagon City. Aurora Highlands is behind these two neighborhoods and has mainly houses.

    • @JulieGrandonRealEstate

      You're right! National Landing is so narrow I didn't even think about that when looking at the maps, over and over. It runs alongside it. I should have realized that and made it clearer in the video. Thanks for clarifiying.

  • @erin1427

    What about crystal city? Do you have any thoughts about that area?

    • @maciejszumny6919

      You have metro there, mostly apartment buildings, lots of new construction, lots of restaurants, lots of shopping options, the airport is right there, it’s close to DC - it’s a great place.

    • @JulieGrandonRealEstate

      I have a lot more info about that in my National Landing series. I'll paste a good one below here later. What @maciejszumny6919 said is also a great starting point! Thanks for watching and adding to the convo here!

    Hi Julia! I'm moving from Brazil to Arlington in January with my family and we're starting to search for single families or townhouses. Do you work with rental?

    • @JulieGrandonRealEstate

      Hi Beatriz, I'd love to help you with you rental search and move to Arlington! A really great way to connect and start is through this Arlington rental search: myre.io/0BlqGU7mPtYm It's 3+ BDRs in Arlington in a typical price range. If you click through there it will give me the info you fill out, and you can modify the search however you like. And we can message each other easily at that point. Look forward to hearing from you!

    Hi Julie! I just moved to Arlington (Clarendon) and this area seems to skew really young. Would love to connect with a group a cool middle-aged ladies but not sure where they are--any advice? Thanks!

    • @JulieGrandonRealEstate

      Hi Kelly! Arlington has a lot of nice Facebook groups that hold get togethers. I have met lots of people at the dog park, clearly you'd need a dog for that! Or, especially because of the timing right now, you could join up with a political group, a friend mentioned Arlington Democrats, and I'm sure there's a reverse to that depending on your preferences😃.

    Maybe just a little biased in this overview? Something tells me this person grew up in/lives in the Ballston area and attended those neighborhood schools.

    • @JulieGrandonRealEstate

      Hi, thanks for watching, and adding to the conversation! You're not far off, I grew up somewhat near Ballston, and went to Washington Liberty, long ago when it was W-L, which is where highschool students go that live in the neighborhoods of Ballston, Clarendon, Cherrydale, and several other highly ranked (by independent sources) also go. I based my list on those independent sources, as well as putting more focus on where all people may find themselves most happy, good schools, and good mix of SFHs, THs, condos, and apartments, not the most expensive, something all people could hope to accomplish and manage comfortably, with easy metro access and diverse and varied activities; parks to theaters to gyms to parking to shopping and employers. Personally, I may have picked Cherrydale, which has very little to do with my childhood, or current living situation, but has always felt like the best place to raise a kid to me. With this list, I tried to average out a "best for all/any, when all things are considered" list. I hope you agree with some of my picks. I'm happy with them. 😃

    These are $4-$5k ghetto apartments and $2M cramped 1930s homes. Enjoy! 🦾💩😔😱

    • @happygolucky1184

      Nope. $4-$5K gets you a nice apartment (still too pricey though). Low end, aesthetically-challenged budget options are < $2K.

      Pretty spot on, thanks! A client of mine rented a 10 minute walk to Ballston metro condo for $1,850 earlier this year. It wasn't bad, just simple. He's saving to buy next time.
