Yo Guys you nailed it ! I expected a cool deck profile not that awesome cinema/pokemon flavour in it :D REALLY appreciate your promise of doing that deck profile and I just bought 95 % of the cards correctly just by watching your other 2 psychich games :'D Also have some other techs which may shows off in some of my duels when its time for Edison. Just an awesome video , much work behind it. So Thanks a LOT !
Glad you enjoyed the video and the deck!! It’s definitely really fun and flavorful, a bunch of the psychic cards are sick and have fun experimenting! 🤠
nice deck profile , you can play hanewata for the burn damage from the field spell and he can also protect for the finish move with caius from opponent and he is a level 1 monster for one for one and a tuner es well is not the best card but he can works
Even though this deck prolly is TOO BIG BRAIN for a newcomer like me to the format. I might try this deck and if its as pog as it seems, might be the second deck after volcanic Quickdraw that ill be playing :D
Thank you for the deck profile! what about "Telekinetic Charging Cell"? Equip only to a Psychic-Type monster. You do not have to pay Life Points to activate its effect(s). When the equipped monster is destroyed and this card is sent to the Graveyard, you can pay 1000 Life Points to return this card to your hand. I think the field spell is too risky for it's pay off
fair point! charging cell is really good with mind master (or any specific monster that you plan to invest a lot of life points in) - it's true that the field spell is risky, but when we spoke to Dennis about the card choice, he made a really good point that the deck centralizes around Overdrive Teleporter, which the field spell helps a lot with since it lets you normal summon twice
A number of questions here. 1. Why 3 Overdrive? Why not just 2, seeing as how you can search him out? Feels like 3 would be very bricky for this type of deck, seeing as your only Special Summons are from 1 E Tele, and 1 One for One. (Not counting Telekinetic Power Well.) Sick you have 3 First Eds though. I couldn't find any, so I have a pair of Unlims. Damn things were $25+ CAD a piece... 2. Interesting you opt to play 2 Destructotrons. I'd probably play 1 and side the 2nd and MAYBE a 3rd... But 3 might be wasteful. 3. Also interesting on having just 1 Snail instead of 2. Being a natural 1900 vanilla when you don't have another card to pump with it feels like it'd be worth a 2nd slot. 4. HUGE correction in this video. You CANNOT use Caius to make Hyper Psychic Blaster. HPB requires 1+ Non-Tuner Psychics, and Caius is certainly no Psychic, lol. 5. Bold claim stating that if E Tele was at 2, the deck would be plausibly Tier 1. 6. I'm surprised to not see cards like Cold Wave, Heavy Storm, and Giant Trunade in this list. Big three power staples for backrow hate in Edison. 7. Why no Gorz/Trag? Overall a very interesting list. Mildly different than my own take on the deck, though I've been playing around with the idea of Teleport (not E Tele) and Psi-Station for some... Different shenanigans.
1) They're not 1st ed, they're unlims! I was just trolling haha but I play 3 because I really want to open it if possible. Yeah it can be dead without a decent board for tribute fodder but its the star of the deck so I gotta max out on it! 2) I mained one at first but my friend group loves backrow plus I can't make any plays until I take out their traps, so I think two is a decent number. If I open one it essential acts as a breaker and the second is in the deck for Mind Master to cycle to it. 3) All of the 4 star psychic monsters are very niche and situational, snail is probably one of the better ones for sure. Would definitely consider bumping him to 2 in the main since opening him doesn't let me full OTK. 4) I'ma be honest I dread making this deck profile because I hate being on camera and our friend Alex interrogated the shit out of me so if he asked a question I just sheepishly answered whatever to move on haha 5) Yeah definitely not tier 1, but the e-tele engine would be as competitive and used as much as the Diva engine for sure! 6) I would definitely use Cold Wave over Heavy just because CW + Destructotron is neato 7) my current list started out using 3 field spell + 2 Terraforming and so playing the field would have conflicted with Gorz too much. But now that I only play 2 field spell I'd definitely play Gorz and will try to add him soon! Thanks for all the questions and feedback!
@@dennisdoodlez 1. Understandable. I've always been tinkering with 2 or 3 in both classic and modern builds of the deck. I love the card but man, it's SUCH a magnet for things like Fiendish, Veiler, etc. (not that Veiler exists in Edison lol.) I'm currently on 2 of it. 2. Also understandable. I'm maining 1, siding 1... But I'm slowly feeling like backrow loves to show up too often in various match ups. Also Anti-Meta banishing decks cripple this deck so hard... I learned that the hard way. 3. A fair point. Personally, I've been running Pandaborgs over the GK package just to see how it works out, and dropping Arcanite. I'm 50/50 on it so far, as both have their strengths and weaknesses. 4. I don't blame you at all. I used to make content on YT and streamed but since nuked my content. Now I hardly ever stream at all, and I'm definitely not photogenic. But I'd take pride in the fact that so many people are interested in YOUR creation. I've loved this deck ever since I was dragged back into the game post Edison. Even though I could never finish the deck until adulthood. 5. Most likely, yeah. I mean Tele-DAD was around not too long before Edison! 6. Fair. I do main it, myself. 7. No problem! I'm finding that I'm really not liking running Mind over Matter, as powerful as it seems. Probably because I **_suck_** at playing Edison and am so used to being groomed into flashy board building instead of tactical plays, so I wind up losing to certain cards/card combos, or I make an incorrect play to try to get myself back into a game after a bad brick/losing board presence.
@@dennisdoodlez Also been playing around with this quite a bit online to test the waters and re-learn Edison... I'm finding that if/when you lose board presence, it's near impossible to get it back in most scenarios. Decided to run Gorz, Trag, and swap a few cards around for more control options. I'm also finding that siding a pair of Crossouts is proving to be hyper valuable to nuke opposing Spys, Rykos, and Morphing Jars.
@@SpritePony yeah overcommiting my Overdrive into a scary board was always my problem when I first started the deck, if my plays get stuffed you’re in such a bad spot. That’s why I enjoy using Caius to blow up medium boards first
@@dennisdoodlez I wind up not even over committing into a board, I'm more than happy to pick it apart or wipe it clean. My problem is when I get into something like... HPB + Android or HPB + Any other monster, and then they just sack me with Mind Con, Brain Con, etc. or slaughter me with Goyo and I don't have a Book/Shrink/Chalice/Thought Ruler at the ready. Sucks hard.
I played this heavily over the last 3 days (29 matches total, some Bo3s) with my own breed of the deck to try and get away from the modern game and the majority of the Yugioh community. Unfortunately, I have a < 25% winrate with the deck, my depression and self esteem issues are at critical levels and I don't know how the fuck you can find any amount of success with this. You must really be big brained, or I am a complete moron. I hope you get to enjoy the deck more as time goes on. Sadly, I won't be sticking around in Yugioh anymore. It's nothing but misery for me.

Our prayers have been answered!
finally a psychic list that's really cool. I never known much about this type of monsters but they have always fascinated me. Gonna try ut for sure
This deck is pure nostalgia
Totally playing this at my next Edison Tournament.
DO ITTTTTTTT make a better list and tell me how you do!

what is the point of Mind Protector? Just to stall?
Its an option to be special summoned off overdrive for synchro plays with a tuner you also get from it
No Heavy or Trunade?
Bad synergy with the field spell I guess.
