We have the idea that most of the western people speak English quite well more than Japanese do,which is true, but the idea that they got their skills in terms of English naturally would be wrong. I am the person who is doing study abroad in Canada currently. Based on my experiences, I would say that they make a effort as much as Japanese English speaker do. I know some of French are not good enough to speak English like some Japanese. No offense. In a nutshell, we need to make a efforts to some extent no matter what when it’s comes to learning languages. Sorry for writing long sentences. I am truly grateful for you making awesome video always.
I thought that Europeans have an advantage over us Asians because they are in an environment where it is easier to learn English, and that it was only natural that Japanese people can’t speak English. However, I felt that all people who study English as a second language are making efforts, so I will do my best to learn English. Thanks for the motivational video.
Thank you for the English comment:) I also thought that learning English would be easier for them, but it’s probably like us learning Chinese, which I can’t even read or write…🥺
@@harryparker7533 Actually, that is not true .Indeed, almost all Chiniese characters' meanings are the same as Japanese kanji. However, the Chinese grammer is similar to that of English so it's more difficult for Japanese to learn about the language especially when listening or speaking.
@@フェルマーのムスコは極小定理 You ask a western mandarin learner “what’s the most difficult part about learning the language?” 95% of them would tell you “hanzi.(漢字)” Grammar will always be the minor thing compared to vocabulary when it comes to language learning and chinese characters - probably half of which you japanese guys have already mastered- make up the vocabulary of Chinese. Let alone the fact that most English speakers don't have the sense of pitch accent(you guys call it intonation), which would actually bother them when it comes to speaking and listening.

@@mayueroom I actually think it would be easier for Japanese people to learn the chinese language than the people from any other country.
