In this video, we are going to look at fixing the grips on the Xbox Elite Controller. Unfortunately, most glues won't work, and it's best to just replace them. Fortunately, they aren't very expensive, and it's an easy job for the end user to do.

absolutely hate how easily the grips come off. i get very hot hands when i play and within less than a year the grips just begin to bubble up and come off

Are the Xbox One Elite 1 grips compatible with the original Xbox One controller? the one without bluetooth

Actually... the inside is part of the main body unfortunately.
What about the inner grip pad?
The plastic is cheap . My remote is literally breaking apart and that not from falls at all. I looked under the rubber grip peeling and its actually in pieces under there

@miguelmaldonado3837 it's a hollow casing under the rubber, I been through a bunch of remotes and rarely drop them. This one is literally breaking in my hands and I'm not a plebiscite of a player . I'm a seasoned gamer homey but good try

@angryflea-qu2nx same ,I bought the 2nd gen for my son and it's cheaply made.
There is a fix for the side grips but there isn’t any fix or replacements for the back grips, like refurbished ones or third party ones

I replaced the outer portion, but I have same issue on the inner portion of the grips as well. Do they sell those as well?
Unfortunately, I haven't see the replacement bottom shell.

Ok so how you gonna fix my elite series 2 controller which has rubber on the whole front and back of the grips? Mine don’t have plastic in the front?

Unfortunately... I don't think the parts are available yet for the series 2.

I know I’m 9 months late but can you use the grips from a busted elite series 2 and put them in a working elite 1
Unfortunately... I've never tired to swap the grips between the 1 an 2.
@@PghGameFix from what I’ve found I don’t think it’s possible because the series 2 the grips don’t pop off like the series 1
