Foosball - Snake shot defending.

I often run into people trying to defend my snake shot by doing that fast shuffle, uncontrolled , so often middle opens right up, then, after a few matches or the tourney is over, I pass along this awesome video! thank you kindly

Right. Instead of guessing where they are going to shoot, make them guess where the hole will be.

I tell people to try to be as unpredictable as possible. What I will do is sometimes I will dip my shoulder like I will move but then stay put (baulk) and they will hit right into my man. Blocking the snake is tough but you have to keep cool and think about the percentages and use everything you can. A good 5 row defense is also helpful. Sometimes when I play singles (I am a goalie) I will act like I can shoot a snake (I'm not good at it) and just wait for a good middle (easiest to shoot), bang it really hard and that scares the poop out of the defense. Great fun!

is there any significance to how you tilt your defenders? looks like you tilt your front line back and back line forward. does that block more area against angled shots or something?
