I always was sure: if I have kids one day, I'll never tell them to believe in Santa, some made-up story about a man who watches them and if they misbehave, he'll know.
I might have just changed my mind on that. Discovering that Santa is not real may be a very important lesson in life, a lesson on changing your mind when you learn new facts, a lesson on discarding old beliefs you held - even if you loved believing that, and a lesson about people of (seemingly) unquestionable authority - like parents usually are for the first few years of your life - and how even those can be fundamentally wrong about basic truths in life, or at least might not necessarily tell you the whole truth.
Thanks a lot for making me consider a new angle on this topic! I'll have to do a lot of thinking on this.

Don't introduce Santa to your kids.
The emotional lesson they'll learn is that they are not being watched/observed even in their private moments. Later in life they might become intellectually capable of realizing the truth, however, even a strong intellect has a hard time to overwrite imprint.

I've pretty much never disagreed with anything that Sarah has said, but I'm going to have to make an exception. If I want to know the truth, I just believe the opposite of whatever Trump says and voila, I know the truth. I have about a 98% accuracy record using this method.

I want this to be good... it has it's points, but its not entertaining, nor is it informative. Good idea, just wish she was writing and producing someone more knowledgeable. The US needs to be put back together or dissected. As it is, there isn't a true country, but rather another fallen empire.
