They should have had her character appear briefly as an Easter Egg in the Enterprise episode Carpenter Street. She and Captain Archer and T'pol bump into each other or otherwise interact and neither realise who the other are. Sarah's character can look at T'pol intensely for a second and then dismiss it. Then she mutters to herself, "You're imagining freakasarous ears now?" Fans would think yes, they're going to team up, and "Sarah" will be their local guide. And then nope.... It would've been such a great fan service.
Bad take. One, she didn’t say it was “needed.” Two, she’s not saying you can’t be creative without limits. Just that it gives you an opportunity to be more creative. Limitations and boundaries are just good tools to help someone create. Oh, and “lol,” I guess.
