A little off topic but whats your opinion on the Levi's "premium" range that make up the majority of the UK stock? Retails at about £100. Is it different from the mainline USA products? Great video 👍
Thanks man. I did a video covering the Premium line. My premium 501 pair has outlasted the regular line from a decade ago. Its still overpriced so look for sales. I notice that UK has the most stock. It gets cross over lines from US and Europe. I think it’s the same items across countries.
Always enjoy your videos 👍🏼 If you look closely at Brando his 501s had the wide selvedge ID which most probably was altered to be tapered on the outseam. In some scenes and promo photos the selvedge isn't wide, which means he was changing his pants of course despite the film's story happening only in one overnight.
Interesting that LVC came out with their 1955 customized wide selvedge, mine is made in, Japan 2021 release. They also came out with a strange 501 1955 Silent Spring which is a previously tapered with wide selvedge then ripped the outseam again to restore it to its original width revealing weird diagonal unfaded sides.
I wish there were an international sizing regulations standard. I’m losing a lot of hours trying to find the right sizing online for many a pair. Shoes is a while other thing.
Brando does NOT wear a black t-shirt underneath his white one! It's obviously a ringer t-shirt with dark-colored collar and sleeve ends.

I bet it's a 1947. No way can the wardrobe department achieve the sick natural-looking fades with a 1953 if production was started that same year.

Modern days Levis 501s, seem to make the waist very narrow compared to my other Levis with the same waist size and length
