- Despite being a holiday, with a relatively light volume of traffic, many drivers and riders still tried their luck inside the exclusive EDSA bus lane.
The most common reason was that they're "in a hurry" or "running late".
He's showing an ID showing that he's certified traffic violator.
Kindly send a message to Richard Gomez. Because he wants private vehicles to occupy the bus lane. Because he was stuck in traffic for 2 hrs. He doesn’t understand the efficiency of the bus lane for commuters.

Last night they had either 6 or 7 motorcycles that had an expired registration and/or no drivers license.
With the initial violation being bus lane.
hanga talaga ako sa mga rider na majority nahuhuli sa edsa busway. ang yayaman nila. daing ng daing pagmahal ang gasolina, bilihin at nagrereklamo sa liit ng kinikita sa trabaho pero hindi nila naiisip un multa na babayaran nila para lang makadaan sila sa edsa busway. tapos pagnahuli walang lisensya or hindi rehistrado ang sasakyan or both. dagdag gastos na naman pagnaimpound un sasakyan. pero sige pa din sa pagdaan sa edsa busway. hindi ko alam kung mahina mga kokote ng mga rider na nahuhuli sa busway or sadyang mayayaman lang sila at gusto lang lustayin un yaman nila 😅
Take note, holiday pa. Walang traffic. So gusto lang talaga nila.
Kung sakali man di sila mahuli, magyayabang pa mga eto sa inoman kasama tropa, ipagma-malaki pa nila na partida daw, wala silang driver's license, walang rehistro pero malakas loob nila mag violate, parang inaasar pa nila yung mga nagpapatupad ng batas trapiko... tsk tsk tsk...

These drivers/riders are not used to traffic laws actually being enforced. They usually get away with it.
Amazing that even with very low traffic, some people just can't help themselves and still want to take shortcuts by riding/driving in the bus lane. They would probably still do it if the roads were completely empty because there's a perception it's quicker.

It’s ironic that those without proper licenses and registrations are often the ones who violate traffic rules. This usually means they haven’t attended seminars or learned the traffic rules needed to pass the licensure, leading them to disobey the rules more than those who have proper documentation.

my main complaint about the bus lane is why we have both the bus lane and MRT which for the most part travels the same route. Double handling. Abolish one of them to free up lanes.

Traffic violators should shortened the validity of their drivers license :) and also if they will pay for their fines/offense, there should be an hours of community service.
That is where the demerit points come in which is already in effect. Since MMDA will ticket them, expect that the violations will reflect on their record especially when they open LTMS Portal unlike if a city ordinance ticket where it does not reflect.
If they have lower demerit points, depending on the number, it can start from not being able to avail 10 year expiration until being unable to renew their license.
They need jail time

Just drove there this 6pm and so traffic which made lots of motorcycles just zoom through the bus lanes no ones apprehending on the other side going north.

I think the public wants to see what happens to the drivers who got ticketed. can you please makes multiple videos (coverage) about them. how is the process to clear their tickets and what happens to the fines they pay. So both sides can see how this public office managed the office that serves the people of the Philippines.

They often add additional violations to the tickets.
As to whether something was added in that specific case, I'm not aware.

It depends on the exact situation, but extra penalties are often added to the ticket, like reckless driving, arrogant driver, apprehended after a chase etc.

@@renevalleramos994 kind of, but not exactly. That was a fixed-post enforcer that tried to stop the car, it wasn't during a special operation.
But the enforcer asked for help during that time and many people were looking for that vehicle, including the team that I was covering at the time.
So it will be included in my upcoming video.

The driver has been identified, so for sure they can take.the appropriate action. Just like what mmda did recently when the enforcer ended up on the hood of the car.
The reality is that if you're a single enforcer and you're trying to stop a car that keeps pushing forward, you're not going to win.
But the enforcer was seeking help from others to try and apprehend the car. Which is what you'll see in my video.
I've seen some people compare it against MC apprehensions, but honestly the number of MCs that escape every day is just mind blowing. So that whole argument is just completely moot.
And at the end.of the day, it shouldn't matter if it's a car, a motorcycle, rich or poor - it should be the same for everyone.
