When I first listened to this whole album, I was genuinely very content with every song that was packed into this masterpiece. When Fuzzybrain first came out, it sounded super fun and loud and exciting, and it gave me the feeling of childhood. But when I first listened to the full Harmony House album, it really impressed me how much meaning every song has, and all of the hidden easter eggs in the songs that reference Fuzzybrain. As much as I adore Fuzzybrain, Harmony House really holds a special place in my heart. You can really see how much more meaning the songs have in HH. It even shows in the new "How I Made" videos: Sloan sounds so much more grown up and mature. He still seems like the fun outgoing person he was in Fuzzybrain, but the change and maturity levels are so much higher. It is truly amazing how much music can mature artists.
I never knew how personal this song was and the call backs to the rest of the melodies, its like a dayglow overture of everything thats happened. Love you man!
This album couldn’t have came out at a better time for me personally at the end of senior year I was feeling a lot of things leading up to graduation this became my comfort album that gave me so much clarity 🥲
It's pretty crazy how I really enjoyed the whole album but this song just resonates in the back of my mind. So happy that you released this vid since I kinda feel like this song is a bit more on the personal side of things for you and, feeling so emotionally attached to the album myself, I really appreciate the "opening up" aspect / reflection on how life is going and whatnot and how you're able to deliver the message through your tight n groovy songs.
