I put a Clake on mine. Works well. I eliminated my foot brake but wish I had kept it. Both options are available.

Mine works just as designed. Simple system for me to bleed. Love everything about my new rear brake system. My dealings with Rekluse has been an A Plus in my opinion!

Agree. I just installed mine last week, though the bleeding took a second, all is working better than I expected. Also, hats off to the team at Rekluse. They give me a few pointers to push past the edge of doubt while bleeding... I followed their lead, and bang! I was set.

Same here. Bled easily and no issues.

Bummer on the updated Rekluse LHRB. I just put together a system that works much better and combines both levers (Brake and Clutch) on one perch. Looks better, feels better, and keeps the levers away from possible damage. I'm working on making a kit to offer for the use with The Rekluse system. If interested, let me know?

When you have bleeding issues like this I highly recommend you pull your MC sleeve out and check that you didn't nick the 0-ring when sliding it in. I went through the exact same issue you did and that was what happened. Rekluse puts 2 of the 0-rings in the kit just in case.

Thank you! I've long boxed this kit up and am using something else but I'll take a look!

U made my mind up I was sold on the rekluse due to brand loyalty. But customer service is key I don’t wanna end up with a 400 dollar paperweight. Ox brake pro ordered!

I switched from Rekluse to the OX Hydro several years ago and it's been great. Take the time to get it adjusted correctly and it works perfect.

Any one tried the Clake SLR?

bummer. I have 4 of the Rekluse LHRB and have had no issues. I do agree that the design is a little long and I have clearance issues with my wrap around hand guards. I've had the auto clutches on all my beta's even my 2011 450. The customer support I received from Rekluse has been very good.

How did the Ox Hydra Pro review go? I have the original Hydra, which honestly is solid. I'm just curious how it is improved.

Hi Matt…. I’m after a left handed break. Does the ox work well? Can you lock up the rear break? Thanks

How did it work out with the Ox system?

I was hoping to see the clutch and LHRB lever closer to the same plane, is the 3 better than the version 2?
I have 2 version 2 Rekluse LHRB, I bled them a lot, but I tip over to much, lol. I like the V2
I also have an OX cable version, works OK, no bleeding, but is not as powerful. I'm selling a bike with the V2 on it(won't remove). I think I'll buy an OX hydro unit next, them watch for more Rekluse V3 reviews.
I haven't seen many recient vids on anything Clake, they still around?
    Thanks for sharing this video!!

Yep the Clake is still around. I have a new Clake Pro Lever sitting in a box waiting to be installed on my Husky 350. My buddy runs the Clake on his KTM 350 and that's what convinced me to try one. I ordered mine that retains the rear foot pedal brake. My buddy runs the Clake Pro with no rear foot brake lever on his KTM 300.
I ran the Rekluse LHRB on my previous 300 and was underwhelmed with the braking performance and agree that bleeding it was PITA. I was also not ever able to get it in a good position to properly access both the clutch and brake lever. My mountain bike brakes are better than the Rekluse. I have not tried the new OX yet.

I'll just say I didn't have an issue with my rekluse LHB either. Took about 15 to bleed and works great.

I tried both this and the new 2021 OX Brake Hydra Pro on my 2017 350 xc-f with the Radius CX.....I'm sorry but the Ox is so much better in every way. It's a smaller and more ergonomic package, better Magura 1 or 2 finger lever, works on an independent system from the foot brake, and installs WAY easier. I still LOVE my Radius CX though! BTW, you have the brake lever way too low to be effectively used, you need to raise it up and forget about the clutch.

I removed the Rekluse Gen 3 and installed the New Ox Hydra. The OX is decent but lacks the power of the Rekluse Gen 2 or 3. Right now the Gen 2 on my 6 days is still the best LHRB I've used, with the exception of needing to be bled occasionally. Also, I use the clutch constantly. You'd never make it riding the stuff we ride just relying on the Rekluse...

@@blwnbyu you tried the New version of the hydra that just came out in July? It locks my wheel up no problem at all. I wouldn't want it any stronger than it is now.

    • @blwnbyu
      @blwnbyu  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@JoshStreetDesign Yes. The new self contained pro. In order to get the proper pedal free play, it's just a little weak. If I removed all free play it'll lock the wheel up hard, but setting it correctly just doesn't quite give it the piston stroke needed to be super firm.

I have tried all 3 and Clake SLR is superior to all of them!

I also run the Ox hydro unit. Works flawlessly and best of all it is like you said, a self contained system. Hopefully it works out for you ✌️

It's just for a standard brembo clutch lever.

If you don't mind spending hundreds of dollars you should look into stunt parts them stunt riders know everything there is to know about rear handbrakes
