i love the older vets, and i don’t want to see all of them leave the national team just yet, but it is SO refreshing to see a group of young women who know they have to prove themselves and do exactly that. they were hungry to perform well and you could see it in their eyes and when they played. congrats on the win, it was so deserved and i can’t wait to watch the next match.

As an Aussie who loves the USWNT, it’s sad to see some of the changes but this new group seems like a team of killers. They’re gonna be another group to watch out for. Vlatko is doing a great job

If they keep the same covid protocols through the 23 World Cup, It seems that the only way she will be allowed into Australia is if she is vaccinated. It seems it the same in New Zealand. So unless those Covid protocols are changed before the 23 World Cup unvaccinated players will not be allowed to go to the World Cup in 2023.
Casey is the best goalkeeper the USA has had since Hope Solo
After seeing this 2 Australian friendlies I am realizing a lot. Which is not really such a bad thing to start new young legs. Take for example who didn’t notice that Casey Murphy is way better than Adriana French. Now imagine having her as a replacement for Alyssa Naeher. Also same goes for some few other positions in the team too. This young girls are killing it 🤟🏽.

These matches demonstrated how the team should get younger. But the older players don't want to retire and the coach isn't powerful enough to tell them they're done.
The Matilda’s need to improve, there’s more holes in their Defense then a piece of Swiss cheese, have someone counted how many times they gave the ball away?, Kerr can only score goals, if she gets the service, the Asian Cup, will show, if the Matilda’s are World Cup material.
Murphy sure can play, ,after the Olympics it was clear we needed new blood, some of the old stars got too famous , but not Carly, she was all class all the time

Don't get me wrong, he's done a great job, but I cannot stand the coach-speak coaches use. There are tons of ways to get hyped for a game without just saying reality isn't reality.

Lynn Williams had 1 goal in 10 games for NC, she's done nothing to deserve to still get caps, why is vladko wasting time and caps on williams when we have a lot of young talent that can use those minutes, Ashley Sanchez did more in 5 minutes then Lynn Williams did in 85 mins. Williams is so uncomfortable on the ball and completely ineffective. Why the double standard ? Williams is the only player that didn't earn these caps ? Vladko is wasting valuable time !!!
First of all stop hating Lynn Williams is a very talented player and for saying all that crap about her u probably know nothing about soccer and she shouldn’t be replaced at ALL. Lynn is also the reason why Amy Hatch scored in the first half

I totally agree. She is so talented and I would’ve picked her to make that one World Cup but she just doesn’t really have the chemistry with this team and she’s had lots of time to prove it.
She had an assist and a couple of shots on frame, and still draws a lot of defenders. But she hasn’t scored much since she was the NWSL MVP in 2016. Vlatko should’ve chosen Smith, Pugh, Hatch, Sanchez & Gorden for the starting Olympic roster, and left off Williams, Rapinoe, Heath & Davidson.
