I think Minelab could be on a winner here,i still use the ORX single frequency i usually run it at 15khz using frequency shift and find as much stuff with it as the deus 2,long live single frequency lol.
Great video. Can almost feel how cold it must have been! By the way, the X-TERRA PRO doesn't have Bluetooth so the old ML80 headphones won't work with it. It has to have Minelab's ML85's only. Still an amazing machine for the money though👍
I have the go find 66 and wished I’d been able to buy this first. As I detect the beach more frequently than in a field (need a permission). The go find doesn’t like the wet sand and isn’t waterproof. The x terra pro is on my wish list so I can get out there in the wet sand or tide. Thank you for the video and I’ve fully subbed 👍
Awesome definitely enjoyed this video. I have been very interested in this machine ever since I heard Minelab talking about it. I just wish I knew when it was going to be released to the public in the states. Because I want to be one of the first guys in line to get one. LOL. Reminds me a lot of my Vanquish that I used to have. From the shaft right down to the coil. And then the box kind of reminds me of the equinox. I would just like to see you do a short little beach video just get out there and hit the dry and the wet sand and see how it handles all the salts. Looks like it's going to be a great little machine and I to love single-frequency machines. I'm a big fan of the makro Simplex machine that I'm currently using. Thank you very much have an awesome day.
Yes very much so, get rid of the Simplex and from a Simplex Owner and as soon as I can get the X-Terra Pro, the Simplex will be collecting dust and The Tone's of the Simplex + are so Tinney and the Simplex love's EMI interference and I have done The frequency shift that they say to do to help eliminate that, but it doesn't matter what I try on that permission and they're saying that they have no more Updates for the Simplex + and are done with it but are putting out more Detectors of the Simplex lineup but the + is now the old Simplex and the Legend has the same exact Tone's of the Simplex and after you have listened to the Minelab detector's Tone's and then it's a really easy decision to get the X-Terra Pro but It's Up to You and your Ears and go back and watch a few more videos of different people showing their own Detector's and remember that you can only find the target If you have walked/swung over it......
I hooked the up the ML85’s from my Equinox 900, I know people are struggling to get third party headphones for the 900 and Manticore so my guess is, probably not.
Being a die-hard 705 user, I can't wait to get my hands on the new Pro. It won't be as versatile as the old 705 in many regards, but it appears to have enough advantages to warrant adding to the stable.
looks a very good machine and I'd live one as a backup to my 800. shame the 800 headphones won't work with it 😕. we all know that the nox800 and 600 doesn't like ground that's been ploughed and cultivated in multi frequency, so we usually switch to single at some point anyway. for around £300 it looks like a great machine to have in the boot just in case you need it. and the other plus point is that the nox coils will work on it too 😃👍
Lots of cool features on the X-Terra pro. When are Minelab going to provide the Vanquish 540 with an update to help with iron falsing it’s absolutely useless on my iron infested Roman permission.
@@HiddenHistoryHuntersDetecting Thanks that would be great. The last update to the 540 helped but it’s no good in very trashy ground, it needs better recovery speed and to be able to turn iron bias off to make it a usable detector even with the small coil.
looking good all machines a are capable of running single and single i find is a more pleasurable hunt mutlti does have its advantages but with multi frequencies running at same time can hit a alloy metal differential where with single the audio is more of a solid hit , multi works alot better in iron and on beach
Interesting. Seems to work . But the recovery speed having only 3 settings is a risk for me. My beaches have tons of nails on the dry areas between the tides. And the Nox with 8 settings has enough trouble. I hope the old Nox phones work with it. I will use my after market phones with it. Or wire them up. I dont know yet whether i will buy it or any other single freq machine again. My 800 and 900 have the ability to go single if needed. If the Terra could have fitted to the TeleKnox stem that would have been a plus. I see that Nokta are releasing 3 new versions of the Simplex . Looks like the market is getting flooding. Wish my wallet was flooded with cash ! Along with all the other machines that have or are being released i will see them in a local dealer when i get my Legend updated in the next few weeks. Cant be bothered to do it my self lol.
Interesting. I think what is the selling point is the price. Also wondering about low tones? Looks like a good entry machine? Still loving my 800. Lets be honest, Minelab rules,,,
No the X-Terra Coil doesn’t work on the the old or new Equinox’s. However all the Equinox coils (old and new) do work on the X-Terra Pro. I tried them all out today 👍
@@HiddenHistoryHuntersDetecting Ah that's good, I love being in for comps even though all I've ever won is a practice golf ball haha, not even a real one lol.🤭
You need to lower the sensitivity down on the X-Terra Pro and not all the Fields can handle Full Sensitivity and will actually send back to you the jumpy VDI and not lock on and tell you what it's hearing
Its great for the money but all 3 of the new simplex are out soon and i dont th8nk it will come close to even the new siplex light but hes for 300 quid its an ideal bqck up machihe if nothing else
I’m a huge fan of the Nokta Legend, but the Simplex is going to have to work hard to beat this I’m afraid. I want overly impressed with the original Simplex.
I think it would be better not to be in a big rush to buy this detector, because probably somewhere along the way mine lab might turn around and make another Terra pro. Maybe they’ll call it pro 2 something like that and it will be a better one because it will be updated everyone who got this very first detector will probably want to sell their old terra to get this new updated terra this is why I think I will wait a year or two and see what the next xterra is going to be like maybe they’ll make it multi frequency if that’s what you want sure it might be another couple hundred dollars more. When they made the older xterra many years ago, they had three models so they might be doing the same thing.
Minelab, have have lost the plot, wot, next, been detecting for 40, years this is a joke, like the etrac and the CTX, which is fare better than the equinox, what's going on , would not care but there's not much left on most sites worth finding, get a CTX save yourself the hasle, going cheap used these days,
So we are going to have to wait 6-months to purchase one just like the Manticore which is still not available to the general public to purchase. USELESS COMPANY
Many thanks for a very interesting video be interesting to see it up against the Vanquish Range so well done considering the cold👍
Looking good! What a heck of a deal!

Looks good, they are pumping out so many new machines. I just wish they would focus on production as well. Still waiting on my Manticore
Let’s go let’s go …. My dream machine 💕🌺👵✌️
Looks like that would slot in between the 540 vanquish and the equinox

Do you know whether any 3rd party wireless headphones work with this machine or do you have to use the Minelab ones?

@@HiddenHistoryHuntersDetecting thanks, i'll hook up a Bluetooth transmitter in that case. I have one for my xterra 705 which works ok.

Don’t suppose minelab mentioned when we are due another delivery of 900s and manticores in the Uk sir?
well we are a bit busy at the present moment with design and promotion ...

Love your videos! Does anyone know how the Xterra Pro does in salt water?
Thanks.
I’ve had a lot of people asking about that, so I will try it out and post up a video 👍
Thanks for sharing

Do you think that the XTerra pro coil can be used in an Equinox 600...?

Awesome stuff. Did Minelab say when we can get the extra MCore coils sir?
Never mind
Would you even know it's not multi frequency when using it ?
Looks an absolute beast.
Where does this sit within the range?
Between the GoFind and Vanquish 👍

I heard $269.

It will retail at £299 or €329 👍

Even though the Manticore price is BULLSHIT, im very interested in this machine
Lots more to come on this machine, I enjoyed using it.

Minelab is still.pulling the iron. Giving good signals sometimes for big iron objects. I wonder when they will fix this flaw ?

I'd like to see a side by side test of the 900 and the Xterra Pro both on single frequency 10 and hear comparisons of the at and dp tones.
That would make for an interesting test, I will try and do that soon 👍
It has 4 frequencies 5-10-8 beach only and 15 kHz !!!
Yep it does, as I mentioned in the video 👍
