PDubs, This setup is INCREDIBLY slick! Now, this Buy Stuff gamebox is starting to make more sense. In fact, with Glen's Retro Show coming out with their new Build A Cade, and Raspberry Pi's being a rare, or at least, expensive commodity, a curated selection of games by a company like Buy Stuff becomes rather attractive. It's hard sometimes to see the bigger picture when a product first comes out, but when the light bulbs start going off in the brain, what a cool time to be a retro gamer! Thanks as always for sharing! vgv
Yes 3rd video with networking! Please. Thinking of getting second box for local 2p action but very interested in playing someone else online with this box. Had no idea that was possible!
We're focused on local networking at the moment with our zero-config network option. Online play is possible but will require some router configuration and app configuration.
@@TheEdog209 yeah you have to buy the yoke from GRS separately. For the ALU you will need that mount for the wheel or yoke but its great with that gaming box
Pretty cool looking. I'd definitely be interesting in seeing what the networked games are like since that sounds like something fairly unique this is able to offer.
Heyyyy Pdubs!! Okay, this was awesome! 1) Kudos to you for creating this video on a stock ALU. I think that's pretty rare to see and since most people need a pure tutorial without differences between systems, seeing it on a stock ALU is really ideal! Nice!!! 2) What's your thought on using the flight yolk on games? I am soooo close to buying one and really want to know if you think it's a solid purchase. I have a small 13in spinner wheel that I'm using now which works but just isn't quite ideal. 3) As always, I give maddddddd compliments to Buy Stuff Store, these innovative ideas are well thought out and give a lot more value to the ALU experience!
Thanks David....the GRS Flight Yoke is very expensive..but worth every penny in my opinion. You can find some Thrustmaster or HORi Steering Wheels that will be cheaper and play just as well if you didn't want the Yoke experience
@@BuyStuffArcades sorry I’m a complete idiot. Didn’t realize I had to select the model I wanted 😂. Ordered the alu one and the flight yoke mount super excited
Hi PDUbs need help, followed your video exactly. But when I flip over control panel to fit back on. The power cable and hdmi socket won't sit flush over the mdf board. Do I need to cut a resess.
I dont see any foot pedals that come with the kit ....how do you make the cars move? I will guess the foot pedals come with a seperate steering wheel purchase but how do you make cars go forward with just the yoke? I'm thinking yoke wud be better to get cuz it wud cover both racing and flying games .... cuz steering wheel prolly only work for racing games
I’m definitely buying the Yoke and gaming box But can’t seem to find where to buy the Yoke from Want to convert my old Arcade1up Astroid cab into a Yoke cab with it
Did the gaming box come together with the Yoke? Also if I wanted to connect & configure my Thrustmaster T Hotas 4 instead of the Yoke can that be done?
@@TheEdog209 oh I'm sorry the Yoke itself not the mount..I read it too fast...the Yoke can be found on glens website link below, or microcenter, or Amazon when in stock thunderstickstudio.com/collections/flight-yoke
Another cool idea gang is BuyStuff has told me that there should be enough space on the ALU to actually fit 2 mounts and 2 yokes or wheels on 1 cab which enables two player local play. I just think that's awesome.

No problem buddy. With Pi's being harder to find and more expensive...Android Boxes are plentiful and can do much of the same thing as you can see.
BSS is the Atgsmes GOAT continually expanding and enhancing their product line … Well done dubs fine video
I’m getting sold on this. Looks really worth it. I’d prefer it on the pedestal with the TV, just as you stated. Thanks Dubs!
Most welcome!
Great video as ever 👍 really need this setup for my legends now!!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video
This looks cool. It looks like i might pick one of these up. Thanks for sharing
No problem my dude!

@@BuyStuffArcades sounds great. Think most people myself included are most interested in some side by side local play anyhow!!
Go many options. Spoiled times we live in.
Yes we are very spoiled
I got mine and its freakin great and I can’t wait to network with a another one…super fun even with shooters
Thanks AL! 👊 😊
Did your come with the yoke? I bought the same setup but mine only came with mount no yoke.

When can we buy this!!!!!! You sold me 100 percent! Great video as always my friend. I liked the pedestal video but for me this works way better.
We are starting to ship them now. Link in PDubs’ description.

Lol Erbwars you rock man

Thanks David
Looks awesome!
Easy to do, fun to play!
Sweet! I wish arcade 1up cabs had a HDMI. I need to mod my ridge racer cab so i can play better racing games on it.
Yeah I wish they did too...stinks we have to find an LVDS/HDMI converter board for each particular monitor to make that happen
The more I see this yoke and game box the more I'm considering purchasing one..
Lol that is the definition of FOMO
@@PDubsArcadeLoft If anyone would know the definition.. I would expect you too! Lol
Nice!
Thank you
Hi PDUbs need help, followed your video exactly. But when I flip over control panel to fit back on. The power cable and hdmi socket won't sit flush over the mdf board. Do I need to cut a resess.
I didn't do any cutting, I was able to wiggle and finesse everything in there, I followed the same steps as Buy Stuff video.

Trigger buttons on Yoke are brake and gas, when using steering wheel pedals usually come with those
Thx pdubs. So if I get a racing wheel with pedals then I can’t use that for flying game correct?
@@yardman1977 depends on the game
Looks like it's a cleaner install on the ALU 1.1 than it would be on a 1.0?
I only tried it on the 1.1 - I think the kit is more designed for the 1.1 than the 1.0. Honestly I didn't even look at the 1.0 when doing this.
Great content
Thanks Erik!
I’m definitely buying the Yoke and gaming box
But can’t seem to find where to buy the Yoke from
Want to convert my old Arcade1up Astroid cab into a Yoke cab with it
Can be found on Glens website, microcenter or Amazon usually when in stock

Did the gaming box come together with the Yoke? Also if I wanted to connect & configure my Thrustmaster T Hotas 4 instead of the Yoke can that be done?
Does Daytona USA have network play?
That box can be played vertically?
I don't believe so
So the steering wheels hog the whole ALU.
Yes...when you want to play racing/flying games...takes 5 seconds to remove them to go back to playing other types of games
Only when you're using it - removes in about 6 seconds.
@@BuyStuffArcades took me 5 seconds 😉
@@PDubsArcadeLoft We can't all be PDubs lol
Where can I buy the yoke for the mount?
From Buy Stuff Arcades

Only on a 1.1 ALU…1.0 owners can’t make it work like this vid
