Great series on the Cadac BBQ. Those chicken and pork kebabs looked tasty. I have never tried making pizzas but you made it look so easy - so will be trying that out when we can get out on the road at the end of April.
I love the cooking video's ! For the pizza, when I made home made pizza from home made pizza dough the oven had to be as high as possible (for sure when you preheat the stone). But for the premade dough you got, there might be some instructions on the box, it'll probably be lower. so in short I don't know :D Again love the cooking loved it at the deep digger Dan channel with beer in every dish. Thanks guys !
Very impressive cooking Dan and Mazzy I bet it all was delicious. you can cook pizza on 200C - 225C , but yeah, just do it on the outside to avoid it being burned under. Satay sauce is very good, but the pre-made from store often has vinegar in it which doesn't taste very good in combination with the rest of the ingredients in my honest opinion. You can easily make your own satay sauce with normal non salty peanut butter, coconut milk a bit of curry, honey, limejuice and soy sauce. That goes for all the other marinades and sauces, just make your own. It is surprisingly easy and often take just a few ingredients and you can easily experiment to make your own favorite for that wonderful grill you have. I must confess I always liked ordinary grills with real flames, understanding your choice though. I like to do crab legs and crab stuffed mushrooms on the grill. In the US there is a place called smash burger. Basically take a quarter pound of ground smash it flat as can be 8-10'' round and through it on the flat griddle, top with cheese and mayochup sauce, tomato, lettuce and union.
Left a like something to watch after having a argument with a bus driver today for no reason I nearly fell asleep on the bus going home thanks to the driver started me and come home and then when you both uploaded something it makes happy 😀😀😀
Looked really good! Those kebabs were perfect, thought they'd get incinerated in that heat. Surely a fry up of sorts needs doing on that BBQ. For getting the hot top off, how about using tongs to grab it and lift it away or one of those clip on handles like you have on a cooker's grill pan?

Hello! 😄 I have a cobb BBQ/Oven which is amazing! 😄 I would say imagine your Bbq as an oven, the less you take the lid off the better for cooking.. Also cooking with olive oil doesn't get to a high temperature if that's what you cook with and not good really.. Hope this gives you a little tip.. Happy adventures 😄

Pizza stone as hot as possible, lid off quickly Pizza on ,lid on, real Pizza ovens very very hot 🔥, cooks very fast, you doe a good job though for first attempt 😋 👌, practice makes perfect, hot and spicy for me please 😋
The satay sauce is supposed to go on the skewers during cooking to keep them moist and flavoursome and the peanuts sprinkled on for serving. That's the traditional Indonesian way anyway and how I make them, but I guess it's all down to how you prefer to do it and as long as you enjoyed them it doesn't really matter :)

sprinkle flour on the pizza stone before you put the pizza on the stone helps to stop the pizza base burning.

You guys need a small table next to the BBQ to set a plate on or utensils. The make lightweight foldable ones for RV’s.

Best way is to place your pizza stone on top of your bbq plate it deflects the heat and makes more of an oven

That rectangle shaped metal thing goes with the ends up that way you have handles to take off the pizza stone off easily while it’s hot!
problem is that in that configuration the lid won't fit.
When we make pizza we put a sprinkling of corn meal under the crust so it gets a bit crisper and doesn't stick to the pan or stone.
