  • For as long as I know myself at teenage up to a few months ago, I have always been anaemic to a point where my doctor concluded that my body doesn’t/can’t absorb iron like regular people. I have had so many trip to the hospital and even getting admitted multiple times to get blood while I was at a critical state. I am so happy today that I am no longer anaemic and when my doctors keep telling me I am okay I almost doubt it. It’s news to me…. What did I do differently..? Listen to my story and please subscribe.

    I agree, Essie. Was diagnosed with diabetes last year, May. Started medication rightaway. But, in March this year met a lady who has been studying how to reverse diabetes and has a success story through her mom, whom she took care of until a septic wound that she had healed, through dieting and other healthy habits.
    She took me through the training and I made a decision to eat healthy, strictly Keto, and been out of medication since April this year. Last week did my Hba1c test and gues what, the readings were 6.1, from 13 last year.
    Sugars and carbs are the killer.
    I am happy for you namesake for the healthy milestone🎉

      Hallelujah. Nobody should take medicine to replace bad eating habits. Thanks for loving yourself over carbs.

    Betty that is wonderful news. God is good.
    How about cold pressed Olive oil, Ghee, Coconut oil. They also are healthy oils.

    • @essiewakago
      @essiewakago  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Olive oil was meant for salads. Shouldn’t be heated.

    • @aniger5021
      @aniger5021 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I am also careful of the oils I use for cooking. From my research, which I did a long time back, Olive Oil is safe when heated because it's high in antioxidants and made up of mostly monounsaturated fats. Perhaps the only downside is it has a strong flavour and doesn't go well with all foods.
      Some people consume a spoonful of olive oil daily due to its benefits.
      Generally, 100% cold pressed/unrefined oils are safer when heated simply because they are unrefined and are made up of one double bond hence the word MONOunsaturated fats.
      The reason why the other oils you mentioned are harmful is because they contain more double bonds. These are also known as POLYunsaturated fats because they are refined before they can be consumed. When heated, they release free radicals through oxidation. These free radicals can be harmful to our bodies.
