    Fun Fact: The Invisible Man's Evil Laugh from 1933 is what Inspired Mark Hamill to play and do the infamous laugh from Batman The Animated Series as The Joker.

    The Invisible Man Returns is one of the best Universal Monster Sequels, only second to The Bride of Frankenstein.

      Personally I prefer the original Invisible Man over the sequels.
      Also personally I prefer Son of Frankenstein over the other Frankenstein films.
      Also also personally Dracula's Daughter is my favourite Universal Dracula film.

    For 1933 this film was pretty out there. I still consider it more horrific than many so called horror films today.

    I love the ‘Abbott and Costello’ crossover, the humor is a riot to watch. The original film of course is the greatest

    I agree that Abbott & Costello Meet The Invisible Man may be the funniest of the "Meet" series. With only one Universal "monster" in the story, the film gives Bud and Lou more time to focus on many different comedic gags, including the boxing match and multiple scenes at a restaurant. The waiter who serves Bud and Lou (w/Invisible Man) at the restaurant is perfect with his puzzling expressions.

    I've got this film, mainly because of this review. This is a hidden masterpiece. Only an hour long, yet packed with substance. Thank you, cinemassacre.
    I'm also getting a lot of movies you review. 20's and 30's horror movies are truly something. Go and purchase this film, it's worth every minute of your time.

    He was one of the few horror movie monsters that actually gave me nightmares. Just the idea that someonw is out to kill you and can't see him. Who wouldn't be on edge?

    I haven’t read the book in years so I can’t really remember much from it, but I do recall thinking at the time that I liked all the film versions better. Even the Chevy Chase version Memoirs of an Invisible Man.

      Wizards & Warriors has a powerup that makes your character invisible only to you, the enemies can still see where you are. So obviously you should avoid it.

    For the Invisible Agent, I don't like to think of it as inconsistencies, rather misinformation, in a spy movie no less. It actually super works on some level. Awesome video!

      Indeed! Worth noting though, and I hope he acknowledges it at some point, The Invisible Man Returns didn't win the Oscar for Best Special Effects (1940). It was nominated but lost to The Thief of Bagdad.

    I was never into the invisible man movie series. I have seen all the Frankenstein movies on both sides hammer and Hollywood. Also the Dracula movies of Christopher Lee and Bela. Wolfman only a few....
