I was singing this song to a dear friend of mine when she passed on. The next year I played it at my Father's memorial service and just today the Pastor at my Mother in laws funeral service talked about Psalms 23 in depth which is almost word for word this song! When I saw this today just hours after her service it came nearly full circle to me. Thank you so much for bringing this to a song for us Jon. You are an incredible messenger.
Nice to see people other than passion and Chris tomlin on this channel. Not that they are bad artists. Some of the best in Christian music industry. But it’s very rare when we see other artists here. I think this is the first one with Jon Forman. I knew he was a Christian. And was using switchfoot as a platform to reach Non Christians to Christ. Glad to see he also writes worship music too. So he can help Christians and non Christians go back to the cross. In my personal opinion. More artists should be like this :)
