Yeah me too. I was trying to figure it out in standard tuning and No Capo. I couldn't figure out exactly how he was doing that intro part. Now that I see him doing it it's easy...
@@JimBob_Joe77 I know I am a year late, but do you mind sharing your knowledge, I thought it was just open E (E-B-E-G#-B-E) but then I saw he put a capo on and now my whole world is shaken.
7 years late, and there's a 99% chance you no longer use this account.. but that's actually a common thing to see, even with pros, with the Gibson SG guiitar by the nature of how the strap attaches to the guitar. I've played one for 15 years, and I notice it A LOT with pros. I still do it, myself.

For anyone that comes along this a year later, Its just drop D and capo second fret.
Love this ... but the twisted strap bugs me no end!
