I would say that overall in order to be competitive at the highest level of football that these upgrades are going to be needed and should be done provided the funding can be sourced. We have already seen plenty of examples of the programs who invest and those who don't. Those who don't will increasingly get left behind with the likes of recruitment/NIL and take a hit for attendance, revenue, etc. while those who do invest will still have the opportunity to continue to grow and develop their programs. This is a big part of why schools are moving conferences (including Boise State).
Thanks for pronouncing Boise correct. I live here and it's super fun when they are really good. I'm a Florida fan so when I wear my Gator gear everybody that isn't looking thinks I'm in BSU gear. 💯 I didn't know we had a beach volleyball team.
BSU football has finished ranked in the top 10 in final season polls 4 times since 2006. Twice in the top 5. [Other notable programs finishing in the top 10 since 2006: ND 5 times. Michigan 5 times. USC 3 times. So Carolina 3 times. Nebraska 0 times. Mississippi 0 times. Texas Tech 0 times. Purdue 0 times. UCLA 1 time. Colorado 0 times.] Despite this success they weren't invited to a power conference while other schools from their conferences have (TCU, Utah, BYU). These are facts.
@ third world. A directional school level at best. Think they’re one of the big boys. A never has been. It’s an embarrassing program with a small athletic budget. That thinks they are big time. They’re going to have to get rid of the blue turf if they ever want to be taken seriously. Now they’re just clowns wearing orange and blue.
@@jesserp23 sorry to bust your bubble. Boise state is a cult. Average program. Only look good because they beat up on the sisters of the weak. Reminds me of Nebraska fans, a legend in their own mind.

I won't watch a football game played on that field. I can't stand it for some reason. It hurts to watch. Weird but true.
They need more
You pronounced Boise correctly, that's work a 👍at least.

The game tickets have reflected the renovation
The OTHER ORANGE CRUSH 😅❤❤❤❤
Unique British narrator to a western school. 😅
Maybe they will have enough money to get rid of that stupid a$$ blue field.
Money pit
get rid of that stupid blue turf.... it looks terrible on TV and belongs in the arena league
I hate the smurfs pitch, it hurts my eyes
Pitch? For American Football it's called a field.
If the blue field hurts your eyes then I would advise you to not look at the sky.
Not bad for a mid tier program
Mid tier funding. Top tier performance.
