Missing your presence here, Shane. Hoping this channel stays up so I can go back over this treasure of happy experiences. I have a sense, but there we go, eh? 🤝
Hi Shane, yours was the very first wild camp channel I looked at a year ago In lockdown ,it inspired me to get all the gear and get involved .haven't seen you in a long time, hope your well and look forward to your return, you've been an exellent teacher, and I'm 63😄👍
Great memories mate. I remember listening to Radio Luxembourg, under the sheets after lights out at boarding school near Petworth. I would much rather have been out sea fishing like yourself. 1972 ish
Another great video Shane and thanks for taking us (virtually) along with you! That Coleman lamp is a decent bit of kit and that 50's stove! Wow, it proves the old saying " they don't make 'em like they used to". Thanks again and see you on the next one. All the best, Louis.
Excellent video as always Shane.... love the camp 👍. Nice to see the pouch is still holding up. Nice items for your tag Shane....... I like the old stove. Back from the days of MADE IN ENGLAND, great stuff. Great to see you are keeping well. Take care, all the best, Mark :)
Another great video Shane, that base camp is an awesome place to unwind. I liked the stove and lantern walk-through too, those old stoves are fascinating I find. Thanks for the fire-side chat, really enjoyed it. Stay safe, God bless, Paul 🙏🏻
I'm not sure why I haven't run across your channel before, but I'm tickled pink that I found it. Very enjoyable to watch, plus it's very informative to boot. Looks like I have some binge-watching ahead of me.
Love that little stove, from there era before gas canisters were invented and still working well. Love the Coleman (modern Tilly) Hip Flask to be treasured. Great little chill out video 👍🏻
Are you the only one on the island doing it, the island is my favorite place in the world i have been visiting for over 40 years, it is so nice to see you there. Do you remember Niton undercliff camp site before the cliff had an issue. I know the house and the ground is still there. Enjoy.
The shop on site was the first place we bought Starwas cards with that nasty bit of bubble gum in, but as a small kid it was totaly safe to go to the shop on your own. Good times. I bring my kids now. So nice to see the videos showing the island. I miss it.
Hey man I've been watching your videos recently! I'm over the water in Warsash, Southampton! Hello from over here! Great content by the way! I'm a hammocker too.
That is definitely a relaxing day Thank you for showing the video awesome as always And I am really hoping I can get my butt out this weekend for a little bikepacking adventure myself with my new bike Or just getting on a somewhat local MTB
I think they used you in the film the FOG lol .... Great filming and editing very relaxing ATB. I always take my hip flask , last thing before bed is hot chocolate and whiskey.
Hi there. Could you please tell me we’re there are some nice spots I can legally camp for few days, I’ve bought all this bushcraft gear, but seems like you can’t bloody camp anywhere. I live in freshwater. Cheers Alan 😳👍
You should be ok with beaches, speak to land owners, have some cards made up so that you can leave them with your name and number, this can reassure them that you will honour and respect thier land, and not take others there or abuse it. I have several permissions, because I gave my absolute word that I would respect the enviroment, that i would leave no trace, even offer to help with any tasks that needed doing on the land, to lend a hand if needed, and be friendly and courteous.
Excellent little film. Loved the stove. You might be interested in one of my prized possessions, an original meth spirit blowlamp for soldering gas meter lead pipes. Creep round for a cuppa if you're in Somerset. Col
Great video! 🙌 Is there a decent store on the isle that sells bushcraft equipment? I've seen a few stores but I was wondering if anyone here has a ' to go to' place 😊
Hope you're well
