I have worked in MH for 26 years, people often hide depression and act like nothing is wrong and then take thier life.
Let her family heal.

I've worked in the MH field for 22 years.
It's could have been troubles from childhood and he never mentioned to anyone. Everyone thinks the worst of his wife and it is ridiculous There are a lot of people in this life who have demons they are fighting and never mention a word. Let him rest in peace and stop the trash talk one day his children will see all of this and it's not fair Like the song Selena Gomez sang People go from people you know to people you don't. This is tragic for his family

You can’t always tell when someone is depressed or suffering. We are so good at covering it. If we didn’t “let you in“ you wouldn’t know how down and gloomy we are. Please give this family some grace.

I agree to an extent. I've hid it for years until I couldn't hide it anymore it almost ruined my life. I'm still trying to pick up the pieces but to people looking in thought that I was happy and had it all when I'm actually struggling with life 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 just praying for everyone battling depression

I had a family member who took his own life, and we did NOT have a clue that he was dealing with any issues. My heart goes out to Allison and her family.
I lost a BIL in same way,no red flags bit later on we realized 2-3 but never wouldve otherwise. Twitch did not kill himself IMO even after all ive learned.

Regardless of the fact you know when someone is going thru depression anxiety or anything that means she lived with him all those years and she never ever noticed anything different at one point you see a sign something is not right that’s my opinion everyone has there own but for her to right away go to police station and say something is wrong 😑 he could’ve been taking a walk for all she knew sounds like someone who knew what was going to happen

I have been struggling with mental illness for over 50 years and until last year, nobody in my "circle" knew about it. Not my family, not my closes fiends, not my co-workers. Nobody except my therapist of a few years. Anyone who knows or meets me only sees a very easy going, funny and happy dude. "We" are masters of hiding "it". Wonder why? Think of something that you feel it is soooo private (and embarrassing) that just the thought of sharing with "anyone" makes you want to kill yourself first. I can't explain it to you because, if I could, maybe I could fix it. It took me living this long to be able to even mention it like I am now. Just consider yourself lucky if you are not like that. This is my opinion. I can only speak for myself. Cheers!
It's called shame. Just as a reminder....people are self absorbed and only think of themselves. If you disclosed your depression to your family, they would soon turn to their own problems. Especially since you have a therapist. Do it.

Maybe today things are "simpler" but back in the old days, mental health was not looked at as it is today. BTW: Saying that it is shame is a terrible assumption on our part. Not everyone is the same and I wasn't (and still am not) ashamed of anything. To be honest, assumptions like yours is one of the reasons why we often don't share, You don't even know me and already assume that my was a case of shame. My advise to you is "don't assume that you know what prevents someone from sharing". You don't really know. My therapist understands that.

This would be beyond difficult to handle, but to handle it so publicly, is beyond words. She has faced social media scrutiny with how people ‘think’ she should feel or how she ‘should’ have acted or what she ‘should’ have said. No one can speak on how anyone would act until they are in this situation. I am sending and have been sending the most prayers and love their way! People have to remember, during this struggle, she still has to remain a mom. A strong mom. Give her some grace and let her grieve! We see the pain she is going through, find a way to support her and not knock her down further❤

@@gmf4769 Not Always true. If he wanted to be everyone's superman, he could have hidden those signs very well. It's not fair to speculate on someone's life, when you are not living it. There are always scenarios that are not the norm. He may have never shown signs, it could have been a sudden onset, it could have been medication derived, he could have just received some bad news moments before (health related or otherwise), there could be many things. He could have been blackmailed and set up. But whatever the case, let's just love on this family. It's easy to say a mouthful when you are not in it. That is not what this family needs. They need our prayers, love and grace.

I know many people who suffer from depression, anxiety, some are mentally ill and have bipolar disorders, but you don't always see it up front. People will let you know what they want you to know and they will show what they want to show. It's sad that Allison has to deal with all of these people criticizing and assuming that they know about hers and her husband's personal life. You can be very happy, but still have a bump or two down the road. You can live with someone and not know them 100%. Why do you think that there are so many marriages where one of the spouses is leading a double life and the other has no idea? If someone wants to hide something they will. People criticized that she's after his estate, that she wants to sell their house, dang, he was the breadwinner in that family. Yes, she has talent and she has her own work, but she will never reach the status that he reached in such a short period of time. She has a family to support. If his estate has to be sold, so be it. It was their home, not just his home. She has three children that now have to deal with all of this talk and speculation from people who don't even know them. Are any of the people shooting off their mouths about what they assume, have any idea the effect that this will have on Twitche's children? His wife is dealing with his loss and now has to deal with explaining this to her children. It's sad that people just don't mind their business and want to run with this. it’s so easy for depressed people to hide their feelings. i wish i earned a dollar for every time my parents/friends asked if i was okay and i would respond with, “yup!” and be happy FOR them. i have struggled with depression since the 2nd grade and i am 21 now. it’s not uncommon for people struggling to not show that externally. very insensitive comment.

As far as his wife, you can't tell someone how to grieve. Everyone is different. We see her for a few minutes holding herself together.
First of all I don't see how it can be said that Twitch Boss took his own life when there is no evidence of that. This suspicious case has been so quickly swept under the rug that not a speck of dust was able to gather around it. Not a shred of justice has been served to this honorable man., though he was most impeccably a loving father and husband. I am so heartbroken to see Boss Man swept so quickly under the carpet and his body discarded withe the trash. I am even too heartbroken to even consider his so-called wife's shenanigans in this dumb ass case. She comes across as a reluctant cheerleader rather than a deeply hurt, confused and mourning wife. Ellen got his name up off her back real quick, didn't she? It's amazing since he worked with her every day as her executive producer for several years. Well, we'll see what Allison does with the estate that she has just taken over. I bet not a single dime will go towards the rediscovery of this case that died way before it was ever buried.

Okay for the people on here who have never suffered through mental illness a day and their life have no idea how easy it is to hide your symptoms from your loved from your friends. I deal with mental and it's so easy for me to put on a smile to be "normal"to take the focus off of me. So maybe she didn't see what was going on behind twitch and maybe he wanted to protect her from his mental. But no one knows what is truly like to suffer in silence on a daily basis.

Basically he was hyperactive. charismatic and talented so he was allowed to follow his passion from an early age and successful at it and given privileges that most others aren’t, but not properly educated, informed, or well rounded

My sister knew Twitch K-8 and in junior high and after she literally begged him to re-consider his education and his future and she tried to help him with school work because she was the smartest kid in school -but he was hell bent that dancing would be his key to his idea of success at the time

Twitch had a great personality and a fun dance style. Everybody liked them together. He eventually got on the Ellen show which was the biggest pay day for them. She got on Dancing with the Stars, in between making three kids. Nobody was targeting anybody, because nobody was rich and successful when they met. They were equal. Both contestants on a show. It’s easy to put a mask on I think that Ellen show being cancelled may have made him cornered on what happens next obviously him leaving his wife half of his estate,shows how much he loved her and his kids and the other half maybe have been put into his kids nest eggs for when they come of age maybe they were still paying a mortgage rather than buying it out right so money may have been a issue after his passing I doubt he would have left his wife anything if there were problems between them he would have left what ever he had to his kids , so I don’t believe that people should go after her ,because people deal with shock and grief in their own personal way and time and being a single mother now put pressure on her own self in trying not to have a mental brake down but hold back her emotions too so that the children don’t get further upset than they all are plus are brains seem to know how to switch to a mode into away of protecting its self from to many different levels of happen for years when even though that person knows deep down of someone they loved has passed ,their brains switch to a mode of self denial because they are not wanting to admit to themselves that the person has passed because by doing so makes it real and that you have to face the real reality , sometimes even though you talk about them knowing they are dead and yet still be in denial to ones self as hard as that may sound but it’s a fact, are brains are so incredible and the fact that they can control when they need to go into a protective mode this is useless down to the rate of to much stimulation and lack of oxygen due to the persons heartbeat and breath to fas this woman was with him for nearly a decade and had children together if she just wanted to be with him for money or using him for her own gain then she could have done that years ago,as far as I’m aware that he no one who would could or did have any beef of any kind of issue to warrant what happened with him, and while yes we know about the elite and Hollywood and how they do things that automatically we think that was behind it, but just like the average person there’s times when someone takes their own life with out showing any warning signs , it could have been that a person had a secretly gambling problem and my have brought the house but then took out a 2nd even 3rd Morgan out in the house that was fully owned but own debts that may had got so bad and to ashamed that instead of taking to their pertner and panic on what they may lose if tol,would be more likely to commit suerside than facing the look of hurt on their family’s face this not saying that twich was in this position,I was frying to say it as an example,, to be honest most people knew about twich threw Ellen, but he was not like a mainstream actor or singer that was no threat to the elite, I think that when Ellen show was axed ,that may have been his downfall of where it started as in he never was making high end money like Ellen and more famous celebrities and in this business it is definitely hard to get a part or job and due to the fact that his job did still pay a amount doing a normal job like us that doesn’t pay enough even for us trying to stay afloat to pay for his expenses which would be so big from what he was able to afford when Ellen was still going ,the weight on his shoulders would have been so heavy while also just like other men they in their own personal beliefs would feel like they had failed as a man to not be able to continue to support their family as the man of the house the bread winner would have also been a factor so their are many factors to why someone would take their own life being on telly don’t mean that every one on telly is down to foul play ,we may never know truly what happened the fact he went to a motel is usly 2 different reasons sex with someone which I don’t see twich doing anything like that he loved his wife and kids ro much ,of the 2nd which actually would tie in that he had planed on committing to end his life , so chose to go to a motel was due to not wanting his family to find his body but also to make sure that it would be harder for someone to find him and try to resuscitate him in trying to save him so his mind must have dealing with so much that he could not see away out, it’s important that all men need to know including women but more on men that you partner and kids would rather live in a 1bed flat than losing their loved one and there’s no shame than not only allowing yourself to be vulnerable or emotional or feel that just because you are a man. don’t mean that it it your purpose in life to feel obligated in carrying everything on your own ,you married for love ,up or down,there’s no such thing as a perfect marriage , there’s always bumps along the way but you face them together as it take 2 in a marriage,much more because they’re soul mates and more than anything you are a team don’t matter who is bringing the money in a nd who is staying home with the kids both roles are equal and important we live in a more modern time but communication is vital while there may be anger at 1st that will overcome and you both will work together to find a solution every day is different and how one may feel like giving up, try to hold of because tomorrow is a new day that may change alot of negativity in to positivity,,as I said we don’t know how or why only he knows and no one should be blamed for not seeing the signs if that is the case then that blame on every single person that took their lives is on us all so may twich and his family get closure and be able to grieve in their own personal way we live in dark times at the moment we need to be more kinder to each other,there’s enough hate out there as their is without She should be able to move forward in positive ways especially for her children. He was so talented and I wish he would have asked for help. Rest in peace. Please leave her alone. For example, when she announced on Ellen that she wanted another baby, Twitch sounded caught off guard, and was trying to hold up his end of a bargain to not disagree with one another publicly. I don't know if they had such an agreement, but that's how his reaction came across to me: he was doing his best to fake it, to talk it out with her later. Maybe they'd been disagreeing about that for awhile, and then she sprung it publicly on him, putting him on the spot. I don't know these people, nor ever knew anything of them before this. My best wishes for Allison and their family.

I think she is being crucified and victimized..as a person who struggles with depression..you become a character! Unless you’ve dealt with depression then you have no clue. You put on a happy face and make everything seem fine because you just cannot deal with your depression AND the BS people will give you about it. Not everyone is open and understanding. Sometimes it’s just easier to fake a smile and deal with your personal demons alone.

I've suffered clinical depression and anxiety for over 20 years and I've hidden it from ABSOLUTELY everybody. I eventually chose to talk about it and confide in my partner, but I made that choice, he didn't have a clue.. Because I was a people pleaser and the "class clown" everyone th9ught I was the happiest funniest person they knew! It's so bloody EASY to hide it. Alot of comedians and actors have it and you wouldn't know, look at Robin Williams. So yes it's easy to hide, in fact it's easier to hide it, than it is to open up about it.

There are a lot of similarities between the circumstances surrounding the death of Twitch and my brother. From things their woman says and ways she acts, to what the police did and didn’t do during the investigation, to issues between the mother and his family. There are way too many unanswered questions. And when someone dies, all questions should be answered.
My heart truly goes out to his family. I do have one question though that I haven’t heard mention of; where was Allison the day he checked into the hotel and why did she wait until the next morning to realize he wasn’t there? We’re her and the kids somewhere else visiting someone ? It seems odd that she wouldn’t have missed him being home that night, all night. Did I miss something?
These were my thoughts exactly. If I was home and my husband was leaving, I'd be like where you going? To a hotel? Why? What's going on? ( unless this was something he did often or an established pattern). And if I wasn't home I'd be calling him later that afternoon/evening asking where are you? Are you coming home tonight?

We lost a family member to suicide 6 months prior to losing Twitch. People that have been criticizing this don’t understand the mindset of Twitch & others that take their lives. My family member constantly talked about the future. We had specific plans! She was also everybody’s hero & constantly doing for others!! Everyone was SHOCKED because she was so loved by so many people! We knew she was fighting, but we had no idea how dark her mindset was. NO IDEA!!! I’ve talked to detectives, therapists, survivors, family members of victims, etc. They are CONSTANTLY fighting a war unlike anything we could possibly imagine WHILE trying to rescue everyone else! Please let people try to find their peace. Twitch & my family member that took her life have found theirs. Of course, we replay “what ifs” & our longing to have them back, but let the family members of victims (victim of their own civil war) strive to find their peace. It is VERY difficult to lose someone, let alone in this way. Please let Allison TRY to live her life & move forward with her family. Believe me, they’ll never really move on- just forward in seeking peace.🙏🙏🙏

I read something a day or 2 after he died that her & the kids weren't even home the night before he left for hotel. That she was at a friend's sleeping over there. Then she came home the next day & realized he wasn't home but car was & he still wasn't answering phone. Then she goes to cops &, while the police are checking for clues at their place they get a call that he's been found dead. Quite the coincidence that they just happen to get a call right when they're at the residence & just after she's gone to police station. Not only that I think her statement fishy too. Her statement & the one Ellen gave right after sounded like they were written by same person. Both used the words that he lit up the room & so forth. With some minor changes to the statement for each. Very possible he was depressed & dealing with something bur its also very possible there's more to it than the allison & police are letting on. I do think it strange that he only had a towel on & was in shower. My thoughts aren't thinking what kind of mess I'd be leaving behind so I'll do it in shower & no one I believe would want to be found in only a towel bc chances are it'll be falling off when whomever has passed. But again we'll probably never know the truth but if there was foul play guaranteed whomever the person/persons who did it will get some karma back or I pray they will. Twitch was so loved by so many & I hope he can rest in peace

I don't think putting added pressure on someone who is already overwhelmed, to also recognize their struggle when they probably can't even recognize themselves OH YEAH AND "it's your responsibility to "ask for help" is very realistic.

Well said. Ask whom for help? This man could have certainly afford the best mental Healthcare available. We all want to say if it was just depression speak up. What if u are so broken and confused u are only letdown by seeking said help. U can see trained professionals in this field and guess what...the first thing discussed his how are u paying and u move through the circle of time limits and medicine.
