Yes you can afterwards or let them know once you got an interview. The english test scores will not be such a huge factor in landing an interview if you have good experience, recency of practice and answered the selection criteria well :)

there's an excemption for australia, if you're a college degree holder or have atleast 1 or 2 years in college you'll be exempted from english exam,
