We trust expensive things to be of higher quality because we put more work into them (because time spent working is money), when in reality, we don't know if our product really isn't that good, because we didn't spend the months preceding the purchase making the product, we spent those months making the money? For example, my Dad used to use Samsung smartphones, and the last one he had was an S6 with a curved edge. Then he got a $150 phone from a company called BLU because he lost the Samsung after a while of having it, and he didn't care to find it because the phone was getting increasingly crappy to him. The BLU Phone served him alot better, and he now uses BLU phones instead of flagships.
