    You got the "cable test" COMPLETELY wrong - in fact, you didn't even run the test. With these reviews, you really should read the manual and at least try to show your sponsor's products properly.

    When testing supported protocols, tester may be turned off due to input voltage 0V (usually PD protocol). To prevent this, connect PC interface to computer or other power supply. For example, ChargerLAB Power-Z KM003C tester has a supercapacitor for these cases and lasts about 5 seconds without power.

      Yeah, this unit should have a cap installed for such occasions.
      It would be interesting to check if it could be added without any drawbacks.

    Can any of these testers identify usb ports, i.e., will it identify a 3.0 port, a 3.1 port, a SuperSpeed port, a 10 Gbps port, a 20 Gbps port?

    Please help me, I have a USB tester like that too, but when I input it with a charger, the FNB48S screen is already running Amps and watts (6w) while I haven't installed a load on the output, and that makes my FNB 48s immediately heat up to 80° C+. is there an error/shot on my Fnb 48s and How do I fix it? For QC/PD testing, it's still safe, there are no problems. The main problem is that when the input is plugged in (no load), the heat on the FNB increases drastically, until white smoke comes out. please cooperate and help

      He does not understand what he is testing… if he read the manual then he would know that some features require a special scenario (for example cable testing requires a constant current load)
      Good try but most of this video is useless!

    hi, is ther a better version on the market than this device? 🤔
    Why are they putting still micro USB ports on new devices, they should have only type c and the USB A ports specialy the micro USB port for updates makes no sense this days. 🤔

    • @TechCornerTV
      @TechCornerTV  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, personally, I like more the FNB58. Regarding MicroUSB, yes, it never made sense that connector 😁 but there are still a lot of devices with it. Not having is limiting the market for this device, commercially will not make sense. Thanks for watching.

    Hi. I've bought this tool. Initially I'd like to see the current power consumption of USB devices which does not always seems to work. However, is there a way to use this FNB48P for limiting the battery charging to 80% of the capacity?

    Thanks Hugo. I gave it a try on an Amazon lightning deal and was disappointed. Bluetooth doesn't do anything (I have Windows and iOs). The digits flip around too fast... no way to change the persistence or significant figures. Mine hangs during protocol detection. USB-C requires fiddling with the cable connections to wake the unit. I think I would be happy with a newer version of a MaterHawk. Maybe someone who uses the FNIRSI everyday would be comfortable with it, but I just can't appreciate something that requires a re-learn ever time it's used.

      Hi Paul, hmm I get it, not a fun experience. I did not had the same experience, but as I told in the video, for me the FNB58 is a much superior device in terms of how the information is presented, thats the one I use normally. Thanks for watching.

      Hi, I've bought this too. For the protocol detection make sure the FNB48P ist also powered using the micro USB (PC connector). This seems to be necessary to power the device independently without disturbing the protocol.

    Olá Hugo, quais as diferenças entre o 48, 48S e 48P? E entre a série 48 e 58 quais diferenças? Muito obrigado pelo seu tempo e esclarecimentos.

    • @TechCornerTV
      @TechCornerTV  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Olá Avelino, na série 48 as diferenças entre eles tem a ver com ter ou não ligação Bluetooth e pouco mais. A versão P é a ultima, tem a diferença da caixa (case) em que é de metal e com muito bom acabamento. A versão 58 é muito mais refinada, ecrã maior, mais intuitivo, em termos de software é muito melhor, e existem algumas diferenças em termos de amperagem suportada, mas isso tens de ir ver as specs para perceber melhor essa questão. Obrigado por assistires!
