Train journey within India is the best experience one can have in life . I dislike flights / airports …. Railway stations offer the travelling public such variety of food . When ever I am in India - only train travel for me in express trains… Good wishes from London.
While we appreciate the and facilities have improved, the quality of tea or coffee are not worth mentioning. They can make it even Rs. 10/-.No issues. As such the caring staff struggle for change. Hygene is not consistant. They do not wear protective caps.

I'm sure you haven't asked for bills from IRCTC . Because , 98% customers don't ask for bills from IRCTC . That's why they charge more per plates than the official IRCTC price . Be aware and always ask for bills from IRCTC person else you'll be fooled. Jaago Grahak Jaago !!
On Rajdhani and so many premium trains the food is Compulsory. So there is no need for bill, But asking for bill is must for other trains where we have to purchase our food from IRCTC.
