- Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel FINALLY did it and released a mode dedicated to classic 2004 dueling! This mode is here temporarily, but if we get enough hype around it, we can get this added into the game!

Assuming that you're both referring to Thunder Dragon, and not being sarcastic, you can discard Thunder Dragon to the graveyard to add up to two more to your hand. Lots of old Chaos decks, and even some new ones I've seen, use Thunder Dragon to get a light monster into the graveyard fast to summon Chaos Sorcerer or (insert either Envoy here). If you're referring to something else entirely, disregard this post.
@@user-zk9rq1hn2c He's referring to incredible technic of adding a Thundra by discarding a thundra, saying NO because we like to feel empowered, and then activating thundra again to discard the thundra to get the last thundra, giving you 2 light monsters in grave and you still have 1 in hand for discard fodder to waste proactively like Rhyme did in this video!

Hi, Rhymestyle, it's fantastic that many well-known TH-camrs, including yourself, have advocated for making dueling with the 2004 rules permanent in Master Duel. It would be even better if there were ranking duels, tournaments, etc., to maintain motivation and excitement.

See, this is the shit _I_ grew up with, and I love it. Back when it was intimidating just _seeing an opponent with 6 cards in their hand,_ and going beyond that actually made you wanna surrender, and this was long before Slifer was a thing!

Saw this format was happening and actually logged into Master Duel for the first time in a year or so. Was such a great time. Konami needs to find a way to keep this around. And also work on letting us get the other banned cards made.

I took a lot of lessons learned from your goat duels to figure out what deck I’d play for the event. Vampire lord, pyramid turtle and creature swap are menaces
I've been running an earth beatdown deck with Gadgets, Giant rat, and Gigantes. I never have less than 3 cards in hand despite no Pot of Greed.

Ah yes. My favorite combo on this event is setting masked dragon/Flying Kamakri (can’t spell) to summon Armed dragon level 3 to get 5 one the field on my turn. A classic play that I used back in one of the Yugioh video games as a kid for me.

all it does is delay a draw after all but i guess it does technically reduce your deck count by 3

As someone whos only really gotten to plau yugioh though master duel **if we dont caught duel links and the gba games** this mode has been. A breath of fresh air. You got to understand the abilty to work with a much tighter selection of cards and not have to deal with morde combo decks has given me so much life. I was strugglin to get myself to play and when i did id play maybe 2 duels before turning the game off cause it felt very draining. But i and i swear to god its true. Had like 20 duels in under a hour. I cant put it down ive made like 8 different decks. Im filled with ideas and having this quick back and forth feels so good. Ive tried chaos ive tried warriors horus and rn trying a zombie deck. Its been insane feeling like i can cook up so many ideas that dosnt need the deck to be mostly sr or ur

Ive already enjoyed this event more than any event ever! I was never more happy to have a 14 turn duel that went back and back with trades and i lost by 1200 points but god it was so much fun! I want this mode perma
