Shoot Kev you the😢 TH-cam r c goat everybody knows that.but she's getting it done in 23. Growing rapidly to an everyday youtube fenom is not easy. Your videos are AWSOME keep up the great work 👍 love the micro crawler Btw.
What a great video ! You understand what a lot of people looking at this are interested in !! Of course you put a different TX in it, I would also ! The body is ready for upgrade, but the powertrain is SOLID !! A person like myself at this level is always going to mod their rig, so will most. Love the review, keep us posted !!.
If you are the kind of person that ends up upgrading everything you buy you might as well just go with this really good value and all the furitek stuff I have is incredible game changer
These mini crawlers are awesome. I run the SCX24 K10. I run the furitek brushless in that as well. These are what got me hooked on the scale crawlers. I left you a shout out on my new vid. Take care and keep posting great vids.
nice truck, could use more center weight, try putting 4 0z fishing weight right behind the cab 2 oz on each side of the motor to the rear of the motor flywheel
Thanks!! it might be temporary until i need to get a "real" job again lol but in the meantime it is a nice departure from 9-5!! Good luck with your channel - just sub'd
The bodies are a little heavy. If you swap it for a lexan FMS Atlas body it will climb amazingly. I have both bodies and several of the Furitek products available in the cayman. They make great stuff.
@@wilsgrant Weight can help keep the wheels down if the weight is low on the vehicle but weight located higher up on the vehicle can make it tip easy. Too much combined weight can be hard on the motor and power consumption.
@@trailwomanrc Okay thanks. My plan was to put a tiny camera on this and drive it FPV, hopefully that doesn't add more weight than it can handle! I went with the nicest micro crawler I could find to give it the best chance.
@@wilsgrant The motor is pretty strong and won't overheat like a brushed motor but it might strain the transmission or diff gears. If you're not hard it, (IE switching direction quickly) it should handle it.
Really enjoyed your video. Have a question you may or may not be able to answer. Can you replace the rear axle with a Cayman front axle to give both the front and rear 4 wheel steering? Thanks Bruce
I added inajor portal covers with inajor brass wheels on proline hyrax. Yeah racing drive lines for gladiator fit if you break the stock plastic like I did. Power hobby 3s 900mah runs for days. Yes you can add oil to the shocks I put 60 in rear. Also move the rear shocks to the front hole on the same level it helps it sit lower
Really enjoy your videos and I’m just building my first crawler associated element 1/10 . Not really attempted crawling before, would you think that an out runner motor would work in a tenth scale? They look interesting. Thank you
Hey sweeat rc ride and lovely video, ill like an comment on all the videos i waych as i do all the other channels im subscribbed to. Last but not least what site did you buy this off of
Surprised the Avatar TX didn't come with this rig. For one the package is over-priced, therefore including the Avatar TX might convince more people to buy their products, because even the Avatar by itself is too expensive for the 'cheap plasticky' build quality.
The king of micro crawler is the winner of the special olympics. You know what's better than winning in the special olympics? Not being in the special olympics. 1/10 is still the way to go. Larger stuff like the SCX6 adds something to the driving experience, the smaller stuff just doesn't cut it.
congrats on going full time, massive achievement!
Aw shucks, thank you!
Love both you guys!

yeah the powertrain is great. Looking forward to putting the mini and micro komodo motor setup in other rigs!

That’s what I was thinking as well. O if $100 on a few parts on my scx24 and easily could have doubled
Amazing, happy you are full time and are killing it on the tube, your content speaks for itself! and that radio is kick butt unreal cool.
Love mine so far
Best video I’ve seen on this rig. Thank you for covering what battery the rig takes. I’m ordering one from Furitek today. 🙏🍻✌️

Yep. That’s a great value for what you get. Furitek has some good stuff. Lovin’ the topography! Keep up the good work.
Good luck going full time on YT now your living the dream of no more 9-5 👍
Pretty cool crawler and I love the old dodge power wagon look.
thanks! It is nice being your own boss!! It might just be a temporary stint between gigs but we'll see where it goes. :)
@@RCGirl best wishes of prosperity to you 🙏💪👊
Thanks for the video lady👍
Love your channel. Best of luck giving it a go full time.

Thanx for the video. Good performer, the Cayman! Nice this kind of trailing-stripes :D
Awesome video. Thanks
Great looking truck!

Love the vids. You're doing great
great video
I put your topo graphic on my trx4m. Looks great!
so cool!!

Congrats on going full time, that’s our dream, but at 880 subs were a long way from that lol.. keep up the good videos

Awesome paintwork so clean. Subd 🤙🏼
Thanks! It's vinyl. :)
Great review, btw do you know if there is metal drive shafts compatible with the Cayman ?
I need one🧐👍🏻

Sorry I'm a noob. Is lighter always better? I thought people sometimes add weight to crawlers to help traction.

Well - well, some crawler's got to carry the title of 'King' sometime, I think---

🤙🏻
That price tag.... ouch, but justified
My only gripe is it’s a done crawler.. not really a lot to do but fine tune it.. I like upgrading and tinkering
it's too upgraded? haha
Sweet video 😉👌
Thumbs up for the turkeys !😂
LOL!!! they are everywhere right now.
for the price, I wish they woulda put metal diffs in it. The shocks dont hold oil, thats ok since Green Slime is a thing.
Hi there Just wondering What battery connections are used for the power module?
When your slow crawling , will it climb at that slow speed or stop ?
Really enjoy your videos and I’m just building my first crawler associated element 1/10 . Not really attempted crawling before, would you think that an out runner motor would work in a tenth scale? They look interesting. Thank you
Furitek do make 1/10 outrunners but I haven't personally tried one!
Will the portal axels from the cr18p t hunter fit thus guy? Thanks!
you want to make sure your battery is not hitting your suspension up top. That caused suspension binding in mine.
Can anyone tell me if this truck's receiver will work with the Avatar TX?
Not real keen on mini crawlers but that looks professional and basic body and electroics
Looked up the cayman not available in australia we must be another planet
bummer!!
Mine on back order like your channel
Do you know the wheelbase of the rtr cayman pro?
Whoops I totally forgot to mention that. It's 6.1" / 155mm

350 bucks lol nont for a 24th scale not worth it at all. price gouging in full effect.
369 dollars???
