- iOS 17.4 has recently been released to the public. iOS 17.4 brings new features and changes but you might not get the best battery life. So in this video I will show you how to fix battery drain on iOS 17.4
Even though iOS 17.4 is supposed to bring improvements to iOS 17 it actually doesn't do that for everyone as a lot of users are reporting battery drain issues on iOS 17.4

Did you update to iOS 17.4 yet ?
Yes! but now it drains a ton of battery
Also it can take up to a week to settle too
The RC version is not the public release if you're using the RC you will get a update to the public release with a newer build just wanted to let you know

iPhone 13 Pro Max with a new battery from Apple. I charge TWICE a day since iOS 17.4 update. Going back to 17.3. Before that - once every tow days.

@@mycrobam7820 went back to 17.3.1 now 2 days are back. No way i'm updating my phone until I get i16 which comes out in October. Unless it's just another polished brick..
This iOS 17.4 update is bad, the battery drains very quickly every 1 minute it drops 1% I hope Apple fixes that later 🔋🔧

@@rayed701 Yes totally disappointed with the autonomy of ios 17.4. I hope that the Apple board reads our comments and makes a change because it affects everything from inferior iPhones to the most modern ones.

I did everything you said except for haptics.I turned some of it like the keyboard and things I don’t need it on, but I kept some of the haptics on. And another thought why do they give you all these features when they know that it’s gonna drain battery?

When i turn on mobile data my battery is going down automaticly without any use even lock my phone

Does indexing heat up the phone? Because i see my left up corner heat while using my phone without internet connection at all, just calling or using note app

hello i have 15 plus. Do you mean that battery life is better on 17.3.1 or 17.4?
17.4 has known battery drain issues. Stay on older update if possible till it's fixed.

I had .3 and I had battery drain issues, I downloaded .4 and it was slightly better, not good for a new phone like mine tho
Just got my 15 plus yesterday after hearing good about the battery. It seems like the update really messed it up because I received 17.4 out of the box. I’m new to IOS so can anybody tell me how much time would it take to receive the next update?

Yup definitely if you are still using ios 16. Since base ios 17 arrived ,battery drain is consuming much less battery than before especially on iphone 11 and 12 :>

6 hours of SoT is good. Don't update unnecessarily. I have iPhone 11 and currently on 17.3. Facing no issues. I think I won't upgrade to 17.4 or more since I'm fine with this version.

Serious battery drain on iPhone XR. 95% gone in 8 hours, with screen time being only 3 hours. Also experienced weird bugs with camera and App Library UI. Might have to move back to 17.3 if I won’t find another solution

My 3 week old iPhone 15 plus battery is going down 1% every 2-3 minutes after this update!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!
Same here but with a 15+ which is quite ironic for the battery spec. I was quite shocked to realise there was like a 3/4% battery drain at nights but it might just be me.
