Fun fact : at 1:15:15 the big rat is in fact too big to fall between the two platforms like the little ones, but instead gets somehow stuck between them, if you wait long enough, it will die by "fall damage" due to a game error process lmao
@@GG-bw5qd Noooo, they just fixed it in the last patch... Let's just give perfumes more damages and lux new skins on league I guess, let's ruin the fun :')
Funny, that actually happened to me too, I somehow managed to land on my own runes with Torrent in Rauh ruins somewhere. Torrent became stuck with the running animation and was very slowly falling through the runes but it was too slow and I didn't reach the ground, the game just killed me after a couple seconds instantly lol. (Yes, I was annoyed by losing hundreds of thousands of runes)
Still really out of nowhere with the lore though. Like why Radahn? As far as I could tell there was no indications on any relation in between Miquella and Radahn from before, if anything they were hostile towards each other with them sending Malenia to kill Radahn. And why in the world did he pick Radahn over his own sister?
@@equivalentexchange4918 the basegame basically states a god needs an elden lord as consort. After the Radahn/Miquella fight, we find out Miquella had chosen Radahn as consort (not stated, but it seems like a "wether you like it or not" proposal). Young Radahn's armor set tells you exactly why Malenia nuked the guy to begin with :)

Im so mad he missed LITERALLY EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. How does that even happen? Missing 9 Quests even though characters are literally chilling in front of belurat or after Ensis... makes me think he just "rushed" through the game, not paying attention
The final boss is pretty good btw, I wonder at what blessing level you were at because it looked much harder in your playthrough (probably an armor thing, I used the solitude armor set you get at the beginning with no helmet, pretty tanky stuff, and I got him at blessing 18)
@@AdhasinThat Armor is just insanely tanky, and Scadu 18 is beyond endgame too. I personally didnt level Scadu above 10 to make the fight more challenging, and it was definitely hard. Probably Malenia level, had 74 deaths

I don't pretend to be objective, but to me the Mother is the most mediocre dlc boss. The design is disgusting and unremarkable, the boss fight itself is dull and weird. Aside from a couple farts of death the boss is nothing.
So sad that the part at the very beginning where Aggy uses 6 flasks to kill a basic enemy and then thinks it's a miniboss isn't there, that was so funny But mad props for cutting all those hours into a concise video
Ngl, the dancing lion makes a lot more sense than "godfroy" to me. But that's probably just because lore wise, the dancing lion is just 4 dudes in a costume, and godfroy is supposed to be godfrey's ancestor, and having them look literally the same is stupid.
@@TheStraightestWhitest Yeah, well, actually, it's kind of a lame excuse. At the script level, you can justify any kind of crap like that. Say, for example, that Messmer had a loser twin brother with no phase two. Why aren't there 10000 fire giants in the game, they were used to make an army. Or Malenia, it turns out, had a valkyrie cousin who also had no arm. Oops...
@@rodo1252 My English is not that good, so maybe I wrote something wrong. I wrote that ABSOLUTELY any copying of bosses can be nominally made not a lazy copying, but a SCENE-BASED lazy copying. To do this, just write in the description of some legendary underpants rubber band that Malenia is actually not one person, but the hive mind with multiple bodies. TADA, now the developers can shove Malenias around the world as regular mobs, as bosses in worthless dungeons and as regular invulnerable mobs in worthless dungeons. And that's it, the hamsters have swallowed it - the hamsters are happy. And the corporation saved money. Everybody's satisfied.
eh you get enough Scoobydoo fragments it matters less. It would just be routing to get max number at each boss, and since there's a lot of ways around bosses you would get fairly leveled before you need to fight anything. Also an entire new category of pots helps
My headcanon is that our Tarnished is actually just as hammy as Igon, and relentlessly shit talks every boss at the top of our lungs when we step into the ring.
I’ve never seen someone not only complain about listening to Igon’s speech every time, but actively try and avoid it by summoning him at the very end of the fight
Love how it shows the few times he got lost but tactfully edited out him getting super confused trying to find the third finger area before Metyr. Watched that live and was laughing my ass off. I do wonder why Ymir and Jolan never came after him upon beating Metyr.
Wears armor especially for jump attacks, but doesn't jump attack; Grabs a weapon especially for dragons, doesn't use it against THE dragon of the DLC; Skips the Dragon Priestess that leads up to THE dragon. This is truly the Dark Souls of Elden Ring playthroughs.
To be fair, streamers in general always miss a lot of details because they're also busy entertaining the audience, so only like half of their focus is on the actual game
seeing aggy fall in love with the backhand blades was great. i did the exact same thing. kept wanting to try new weapons, kept falling back to backhand blades.
I had the exact reaction Aggy had at the end, confusion "where did this come from?" "is that it?", it just kind of leaves you there post cutscene. Loved it tho, they truly outdid themselves with this DLC. Reading some of the comments I guess npc quests explain the reveal, just got back to the DLC on NG+ and will probly be following guides because I progressed too early and missed out on some lore and gear (most specifically Ansbach and like the final 1% of Thiollier's quest).
@@brenosilvamorais2510 Yup I went back to it today and it's very clear if you manage to somehow do the Ansbach / Freya quest in the slim time-frame you get. I imagine most won't on their first go though.

I think the random Sanguine Noble summon for the Leda fight is for people who managed to not finish any of the NPCs quest, so they don't have to fight alone. I did the quests and got to summon Ansbach and Thiolier to fight against them (Freyja was also alive, on their team)
Those Stripped Of The Grace Of Gold Shall All Meet Death, In The Embrace Of Messmer's Flame. (I only heard this about 20 times in row before I beat his ass)

There are many ways to get everywhere on the map. A random dungeon or spirit spring are not the only way and are often the more difficult and counter intuitive way to get there
Vile Bayle is just, so amazing to fight. The music, the atmosphere, the lore, the fight itself, the visuals. It's like a culmination of actual peak fantasy
the most major “learnable” thing about the final boss fight is that the golden illusions in the second phase do marginal damage compared to the ACTUAL hit that comes at the end of the chain, and are merely meant to throw you off your rhythm. obviously that doesn’t matter if you’re low hp already… they can still kill you. but it helps to figure out when you’re supposed to prioritize rolling in the seemingly impossible attack chain (cause it does seem to be nearly impossible to avoid all damage from it)
As far as i can tell, all of the illusion teleports (except the quick one he does after dashing to the side, which you just roll twice) are meant to be avoided by sprinting, but each one requires a different direction. When he rises into the air and raises his right arm, you can sprint to his left to avoid the illusions and then roll the final hit. When he does his flying rock throw, its always followed by a teleport attack using both swords, so you should spend all the time between when he flies up and when he comes down for the final swing just running directly away from him (the rocks can be avoided by running sideways and jumping to shrink your hitbox and give a boost of speed). When he does his gravity pull-in aoe, you can avoid the gravity followup by running away and jumping the slam aoe. In the second phase he follows this up with anothet few teleports and a second gravity slam; literally just keep running and jump the second slam. And, finally, the big meteor strike he does at 15% health, can be avoided by just running in any direction while he’s in the air (you dont need to know where he’s coming from). TLDR: when he starts teleporting a million times, just run away and only dodge the final hit.
I know this was at launch but it's really funny to me that aggy in all of these fights never tries to use jumping as a way to dodge ground aoes like fire, quakes, rellana's horizontal projectiles after the vertical ones on phase 2 + the three moons, etc. I guess it's because base game barely enforced it as a mechanic
i think radahn has a clarity problem its practically impossible to reason out how to dodge his phase 2 attacks. the visual information is so overwhelming and unlike anything else in the series that you're only hope is to trial in error in the middle of the hardest phase ever devised. i had the same experience where after enough torture i thought maybe you're supposed to tank the clones cause it really does feel impossible to avoid i had to look up a no hit to watch how they did it and once you know its totally reasonable but before then you basically have no chance
I strongly disagree. I figured him out completely by my 10th try, and beat him on my 12th. No summons, no greatshield. Just parries and a Smithscript Cirque. People really are just against learning. You can see that Aggy has figured him out in that last fight.

A three-hour movie is coming out, I - There's no way I'm going to watch this for so long. Aggy posted a three-hour dlc video, I - Not a word more, let's start watching right now.
The Order you played through this was so weird, you found the shadow forest BEFORE the other two southern regions which are much easier to get to then you killed Romina BEFORE Messmer.
Well the game doesnt really tell you where to go so anyones direction isnt that weird. Romina was the 3rd boss i fought and Messmer was the second to last
I'm glad I'm not the only one who could never figure out how to dodge that 2nd attack in the 3-hit combo of the final boss. I tried literally everything I could think of & never dodged it
because it is mathematically impossible from almost all angles. there is nowhere near enough time to roll both hits, and the hurtbox is significantly larger than any roll type. the only way to dodge it is by exploiting slight vertically in the terrain, or being in the perfect spot near his left foot *before* he even decides to do the attack, and rolling to your right and behind him
@PotatoTortoise I've now seen people dodge both attacks in one roll by going to the left/toward Radahn's right. I don't fully understand it, but I believe it involves strafing & rolling very late to dodge the end of swipe 1 & the startup of swipe 2. It's also possible to backstep swipe 1 & still have enough time to roll swipe 2, but I can't remember if that requires the backstep talisman or not. It's super unintuitive though for sure, and I don't think I've seen anyone figure it out on a blind playthrough

Fun fact : at 1:15:15 the big rat is in fact too big to fall between the two platforms like the little ones, but instead gets somehow stuck between them, if you wait long enough, it will die by "fall damage" due to a game error process lmao

2:42:30 "Where did this come from?" he says after not doing a single of the lore quests
Fr I remember one of Leda’s notes talking about Mohg corpse and Radahns soul
Still really out of nowhere with the lore though. Like why Radahn? As far as I could tell there was no indications on any relation in between Miquella and Radahn from before, if anything they were hostile towards each other with them sending Malenia to kill Radahn. And why in the world did he pick Radahn over his own sister?
@@equivalentexchange4918 the basegame basically states a god needs an elden lord as consort. After the Radahn/Miquella fight, we find out Miquella had chosen Radahn as consort (not stated, but it seems like a "wether you like it or not" proposal). ER randomizers gotta be wild with new dlc bosses
it'll actually be interesting to see how randomizers handle the dlc scaling, both for putting base game bosses in the dlc and dlc bosses in the base game.
I’m not looking forward to seeing the new Radahn as like Margit or something.
2nd phase Radahn in a small arena where you cant escape the Light of Miquella attack and the meteors is going to be awful

I like how they manage to give regular fire, golden fire, frenzy flame, bloodflame and Bayle's fire distinctive looks and feels, despite the colors for them all being in the usual range for fire, i.e. red, orange and yellow.

I don't pretend to be objective, but to me the Mother is the most mediocre dlc boss. The design is disgusting and unremarkable, the boss fight itself is dull and weird.
Aside from a couple farts of death the boss is nothing.
Messmers attacks are so damn cool to look at. You can see scales on the individual flames as the snakes form from the flames and squirm away
I sat and watched this for 50 minutes before thinking "wait how long is this video" and then looked at the runtime
So sad that the part at the very beginning where Aggy uses 6 flasks to kill a basic enemy and then thinks it's a miniboss isn't there, that was so funny

Ngl, the dancing lion makes a lot more sense than "godfroy" to me. But that's probably just because lore wise, the dancing lion is just 4 dudes in a costume, and godfroy is supposed to be godfrey's ancestor, and having them look literally the same is stupid.
It's actually 2 also in the story trailer you can see up to 4 divine beasts being impaled by messmer
Yup. The Divine Beasts are just crafted beings basically. There's many of them. Messmer just slew the majority.
Oops...

10:26 How does Aggy make the noises he does with an almost dead face. Like he barely emotes screaming for his life lmao
There are many ways to get everywhere on the map. A random dungeon or spirit spring are not the only way and are often the more difficult and counter intuitive way to get there
Aggy really played shadow of the “SCADOO!” Tree
TLDR: when he starts teleporting a million times, just run away and only dodge the final hit.
entire fight is learnable if you know how to parry 😅
I'm curious to see how tough he will be for the hitless comunity
I beat this recently and noticed this but wasn't sure how to utilize it - I never thought to block even though I was parrying. Whoops.
Still a cheap complication
I know this was at launch but it's really funny to me that aggy in all of these fights never tries to use jumping as a way to dodge ground aoes like fire, quakes, rellana's horizontal projectiles after the vertical ones on phase 2 + the three moons, etc.
I guess it's because base game barely enforced it as a mechanic
i think radahn has a clarity problem
its practically impossible to reason out how to dodge his phase 2 attacks. the visual information is so overwhelming and unlike anything else in the series that you're only hope is to trial in error in the middle of the hardest phase ever devised. i had the same experience where after enough torture i thought maybe you're supposed to tank the clones cause it really does feel impossible to avoid
i had to look up a no hit to watch how they did it and once you know its totally reasonable but before then you basically have no chance
Some of the difficulty definitely comes from his arms being obscured by the massive hair, making it difficult to tell what attack he's winding up
agree hair and beams everywhere, its not a great fight in terms of readability. i almost summoned another player.
I strongly disagree. I figured him out completely by my 10th try, and beat him on my 12th. No summons, no greatshield. Just parries and a Smithscript Cirque. People really are just against learning. You can see that Aggy has figured him out in that last fight.

The Order you played through this was so weird, you found the shadow forest BEFORE the other two southern regions which are much easier to get to then you killed Romina BEFORE Messmer.
Well the game doesnt really tell you where to go so anyones direction isnt that weird. Romina was the 3rd boss i fought and Messmer was the second to last
it was way easier for me to find romina because there are 800 different branches to shadow keep and i kept thinking "there's no way there's more here"
23:32 "I'm so fucking smart", proceeds to get absolutely destroyed by the cannon got me on the floor
i love how aggy completly missed Ansbach and his Lore-Filled quest.
so at the end he is just confused xd
It’s a shame so many people are missing that quest line because Ansbach is like the best NPC in the DLC.
It's super unintuitive though for sure, and I don't think I've seen anyone figure it out on a blind playthrough
is it just me or is the camera in the second half of the mezmer fight really well done?
That last fight was insane, whole DLC looks awesome. Love that last line "are we the bad guy?" 💀 😂
