Pro tip, you can actually score pieces and add your slip so that you get a smoother look instead of the rough draft you had before. And also a spray bottle is really handy for when your pieces are too dry to work with. Clay is all about using the tools you have.
Trusting the process really is part of sculpting. I am a sculptor and oh my lord I have wanted to complete start over on projects so many times because they aren’t looking very good. But then boom 10 minutes later it’s my vision.
Ok sooo Christmas is right around the corner (abt a month away but yk what I mean lol) so my wish list had air dry clay on it so I might try to make smt like this! Thanks for the idea! ❤
I feel sad I wasn't able to live the TOH experience like all the people here suffering and making theories when we didn't had much info and season 3 didn't exist. At least I have the video reactions to feel like I'm part of it 😅 This series has a special place in my heart since the day I found it.
i’m not trying to be a hater i swear but just know that the crayola air dry does not hold up well over time. it starts to crumble (a sealer might prevent this though im not sure). your creations are so beautiful they deserve to last forever!
Thank you for these videos now I can convince my sister to get up and take a heartbeat when she ain't working auto mechanic in fixing cars she works for BMW so thank you for suggesting a woman has a hobby Wisconsin girl powered😂🎉
Slip is only needed for when you fire clay. The rapid drying process causes any air bubbles to expand and bust out, causing it to break. If its any clay that doesn’t need to be fired (ie, air dry clay, or small clay pieces that can air dry)
If you want to carve out holes you should try a paperclip its bottom when the other side is folded up works just as well as the fancy tool whatever its called
Careful with crayola or honestly any air dry clay. make sure it’s completely dry bc I had projects that went bad after a few months - a year of having them because they didn’t properly dry and I painted them and they created these bubbles
Make a ball for me a ball a little small balls then I could copy and make a bouncy ball. I’m still learning how to clay and I love your video.❤️👍😻👏🏻😇🙏😼👍🏻😮🏀
Fun fact if you have some Cracks you can Use water for making it smother and if you want to make jelwry plate or somthink Else dont make to thin it will break
If you’re really thinking about getting into a hobby like air, dry clay, I recommend a nicer quality air dry clay so you can make more intricate pieces. Don’t give me wrong Crayola air clay is OK but if you really wanna make intricate details, it’s a nightmare to work with.
In about 3 years those pieces will begin to crumble and fall apart. My babies hand print started to crumble and that's something that I can't replace. So mad at Crayola
I'm right with you, girl! It doesn't take a lot of money to have a lot of fun 😊
Totally! 💗💗

Why is no one talking about how she just carved out a perfect circle so smooth and quickly?!
She used a Boal to make an indent
Because she didn’t

Wait can someone tell me where u got all that stuff cause that looks so funn
I will never forget what my art teacher Mrs. Acorn always said about clay: "To make it stick you score and slip." 😂 She was awesome.
The tiny checkers board is such a cute idea.
RIGHT 😍 I’m obsessed
@@jesfrazso am I !
you can also use a wet paintbrush to smooth out the parts you carve

A sealer helps, i had my creations for over a year and no crack :)
@@anniedahlke621 that’s really good to know! what kind did you use? just a standard acrylic paint glaze?
Thank you for these videos now I can convince my sister to get up and take a heartbeat when she ain't working auto mechanic in fixing cars she works for BMW so thank you for suggesting a woman has a hobby Wisconsin girl powered😂🎉
I love this clay it's a great
You did great! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I love this🎉!
Another way to do the lemon, you could try making another circle of the same size to put on top but cut out the triangles before putting it on top
I made a clay checker board in art class before!
I literally have that in my hands right now, I have the same exact type of clay
This looks like a fun Sunday afternoon. Crafts, music, siblings, snacks and a jay hehe
Omg those are so cute and ilysm
Thank you 🫶🏼💗

U have amazing idias why not try a fruit jewlary box i liked
Put vinegar in your slip if you don't want it to mold, this way you can save it for later!
Where did u get the pottery tools from?
So cute!!
if you want to use slip i recomend using water and any vineger and clay
It is so pretty
I love ur vidoes
Is air dry clay any good? I've only used oven bake.
I've always been afraid the air dry would dry up before my projects done....

These are cuteee!
CANT WAIT FOR PART 2❤
I might do this🤭
omg that waffle 🧇 plate is everything! need! would buy 🤩
I want to make tiny clay sculptures but if I did they would be thick. Would it crack? And if it did, how would I fix it?
It's just so cool that you "sisters" are getting together in this way! I hope it goes on forever!😊👍
Where did u buy the clay glase
so slip is the same thing as slurry? i took a professional ceramics class and we always called it slurry
yep pretty sure they are
So jealous you have sisters. This is awesome!
tell me rn where you got the tools
I don’t have girl friends but I’d do this alone 😂
Cool ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
How much does it cost ?
Expensive or cheap??
tip!: when you are “ scratch and attaching” do not rub the scratches!, instead drip it on top!
How did you dry it?
Slay girl LOVE IT
So cute ❤
Where do you get that clay I've been searching everywhere 😭😭😭
Que bien ❤😊

Friendship is a sheltering tree.
Can I do my niece feet print with this
Excelente
I finished mine I watched this and did it
I have a love hate relationship with air dry clay 😭 im glad you’re having better luck than me
I tried using that a lot but they keeping falling apart :(
My clay is sticking to the surface and won’t pull up. What’s wrong?
That concoction could also be used by vinegar
CANT WAIT FOR PART 2
Just posted it!! 🤭🤭🫶🏼
So cute
i love clay
I personally don’t recommend crayola air dry because it breaks and cracks super easily I recommend creative paperclay! It’s cheap but high quality :)
Yall need molding clay . The clay being used in the video has a weird consistency

I made a cherry shaped trinket dish :]]
Adorable!!! 🥰
You don’t have a part two
