Wow pretty neat to see northbound and southbound diverge to opposite sides near the descend (also loved the music transition with the asphalt to concrete transition at 8:35)! Only section of freeway that I'm familiar with that does something familiar is US-131 in Grand Rapids. Once again awesome video!
@@AsphaltPlanet1 one of those highway stretches on which I always love to drive that happens to be an expressway... like I-44 in Missouri, the Pennsylvania Turnpike, I-280 in the San Francisco Bay Area, I-10 in eastern Arizona, I-40 in eastern Tennessee and western North Carolina, I-75 in northern Michigan... I-75 in southern Kentucky and Tennessee north of Knoxville... maybe the West Virginia Turnpike (long ago and I was then too young to drive).
Just a thought, you could have added notations for just the elevation changes. Hard to convey with this video just how much up and down this drive actually has.
I actually came home down interstate 5 from Santa Rosa. I actually prefer taking interstate 5 over highway 101 since it has more lanes and a speed limit of 70. The 101 is too slow because it passes through the beach towns and there is often traffic in Santa Barbara.
Drove this late night last week and couldn't appreciate its grandeur and sweeping vistas, so this stunning video is the next best thing 😍

Thanks so much for for the comment. This section of I-5 is so much fun to drive.

Excellent video! What a stunningly beautiful stretch of expressway.

If you can, make a video about Chicago, IL. Thanks
During your time driving there, you were heading to Los Angeles. How was it like visiting there in that time?
I did visit Los Angeles. I have visited Los Angeles many times, I very much like it.
