I think a lot of this applies when you're having a bad map/day, not necessarily when you're of a lower level. Sometimes bringing an SMG and utility to assist your teammate will be more useful than dying with a rifle in your hands. If your aim is off, try to get more utility damage and flashes, either pop flashing teammates in or delaying the enemy. Communication can be more valuable than a kill sometimes. Don't be afraid to run in first so you can be traded (just make sure the others know you're doing that).
Bad day isnt the thing Confidence you know how to do how like spray whatever but still mistake because you dont feel confidence change it by Thinking Losing and Winning doesnt mattet but having 2k 3k 4k moments mattter play game for those moments to get better playing thinking you are doing content stuff works for me
Perfect advice. Some days I have a bad map or just a bad day and I will tend to play supporting roles. I have no issues being the first one onto site and die, as long as my death meant something.
Not every day I wake up with crisp aim… then I will have to rely on teamplay more, rather than intuition 😊 It’s only natural, but most players don’t have any backup play-style to fall back on.
@@STYKO Yea, in some ways, playing the "passive" impact roles is fun. I dont mind calling all info out when I'm dead either, I prefer that rather since my teammates won't have to call whilst playing and can just focus on their senses
I'm watching your videos not just because they are good but truly out of respect. Your choice of script and content is perfect and nobody really makes content like this as polished
one small thing worth mentioning is that a lot of people feel like they suck because of their mechanics but really it's their positioning/tactics! if you feel like you lose every gunfight, try and think about how you could have set yourself up better to win it, whether that's playing an off angle, flashing/asking for a flash, swinging them instead of holding, etc. etc., there's usually something you could do better other than just "click the head".
ive played mirage b anchor in pugs for ages (look it's chill ok) and one thing ive learned is to always have a kit on pistol. even if i do 0 dmg and die that kit will probably win the retake for my teammates, especially if i can properly delay with smoke/flashes. other tough to retake sites like b vertigo, b dust2, and a ancient are the same imo
Call the Team Bots, and noobs. If you suck personally, at least make sure that others feel bad as well. Thanks for listening to my tips, cya for my next pro tips.
@zedk9137 always make sure to kickvote the guy with lowest adr when the first heated discussion comes up. If they refused to kick, say "okay afk" then proceed to go afk for about 2 rounds. After that you return and randomly Flash teammates and stand infront of their scope. Then initiate the kick a 2nd time, saying "kick him or we lose".
The story of my life: trying to be usefull to my team in other ways than killing. Great video. I´ve been implementig most of these tips for long now since I suck at aiming and it works since I´ve got a very decent win %. If you have 3 decent aim players in team and other 2 willing to do this job its a winning team all day.
As someone who has never had good aim compared to my level and soloq'd to Faceit lvl 10 (3,6k elo max in CSGO), I'd add these 2 things to help your team without killing enemies: 1. As CT, play to survive and delay. Use your smoke & molly to stop the enemy and don't take unnecessary 1v1 duels. Learn positions, where you have the possibility to back off and disengage. Also play with timings when you do have to peek, because you need the advantage to win your duel. 2. Learn supportive utility that you can throw that won't affect your teammates negatively, like for example throwing flashes that won't blind your teammates, but can blind enemies (like top mid flashes on Mirage). Basically utility that can't have any negative impact on your teammates, but might have a positive impact and give you flash assists. And you can use those without even any comms, which is important because comms are always shit in pugs lol
@ErikVomMars Good example was just last game, when a teammate was pushing out B on Anubis as CT. He already had a teammate flash for him, but I still decided to also throw a flash (didn't call it) to a slightly different place to help him and I got 2 flash assists for that and we won the round and game 13-11. Very impactful and maybe even a game winning flash that I didn't even need to call.

Styko (and of course everyone who can answer), You picked spots at 0:50 that I usually play and I have the highest ADR / most kills from playing those positions. Does this mean I should switch to other positions?
No, it was just general advice based on statistics available. Of course, we are all different so by the looks of it, these spots seem to suit you a lot more than others!
I literally do these things every match and me and my friends struggle against lvl 4's .... I know I suck, I know my prime has passed, I swallow my ego and sometimes is like people do not respect even these efforts. It's like by doing these things you "cope" that you are useful, but you are not if you don't click the head of the other guy before he clicks on you.
im 2.4k elo and the biggest thing for me if me or a teammate is having a bad game is not to give up just because you cant frag doesnt mean u take stupid fight and give them a 4v5 just to say not my day play with your team and get trade is way better then give away a free kill

How would you improve this? Any tips on the all aim no brain part of cs?
Firstly, what an amazing video. Secondly, could someone send this to Snax please??? I think some tips, like no 2 and no 4 (mainly this one lol - 3:15) could be so helpful to improve G2 even more.
all i want is a video which tells you how to go from 2k elo to 3k,4k,5k and so on, all these video are so surface level and for silvers, like check for yourself all the videos are how to get to level 10 but never any further
@ yh of course mate, but that’s not what i’m saying, all this information is surface level stuff very simple and at level 10 you should already know this stuff, it’s actually very challenging thinking about it bcus as u say ppl have their own differing things to improve, but i don’t need to be told to pull down a little bit and then just move my spray left and right a bit, i need more accurate more precise information while skipping over simple information bcus we are assuming i already know that, an interesting video will be mind games at high level, or what i am looking for which is how to improve calling as an IGL at level 10 and how to entry at level 10 against players who have already seen everything or what i really really want which is how to not get bot teammates who push alone and die and call baiting when ur on the other side of the map… some things never change 🤣
@@hassie.oliver At this point youre not gonna find any youtube videos that can help you, content creators dont want to adress a community which is very very small, as it will not bring them any views. like 2% of cs players have a faceit account, 1% of those accounts are 2k elo+, noone would watch this content and even if they would they would not be able to benefit from it. I recommend you find your own ways of learning or alternatively talk to some experienced player privately/on twitch chat.
@ lmao trust me i know this already i have looked and found nothing that’s y i wrote that^ i do think you’re wrong tho about the content bcus u don’t have to be a level 10 faceit to watch that video, u just need to have a hunger in your belly to improve and that video will be interesting to you, fair enough they may not benefit as much bcus as i said before we are assuming they will have the knowledge (which in this case they won’t) but they can definitely still watch the video even if it’s not intended for them, and who knows maybe there will be more desire for ppl to become faceit players, at the end of the day tho it’s not my decision whether or not a content creator will actually make the videos but as i said i WANT that, also streamers don’t care and won’t have the time to talk to me and simples course was a scam it’s hard out here…
I think one simple advice is to stop crying in the chat about the cheaters ESPECIALLY when you are losing. If you think a player is cheating just report in 2 clicks it takes one second then MOVE ON to focus on what you are not doing correctly.
I think saying to not waste money on util is the worst possible advice you could give to a low level player. Yes, in short term it's better to have that 1k money, but such player will never learn how to throw util spontaniously and will stick to line-ups, making them a worse player in the long term.
Nothing worse than teammate smoking window only to fail it and gets you killed by an AWP. I agree that players should learn util, but it should start in empty server testing lineups. Throwing nades on the fly is important but you will naturally develop this feeling over time when you play more.
