What a very nice and fun opening of the Winnebago ceremony(ies)!🏟🎙🎸🎹🎷🥁😎😎 I was looking for a mountain or two🌄, but it is actually flat(but beautiful)all the way around from the view of the tower! The food there must have been fantastic!🌭🌮🌽Very nice RVs, products, and even classic cars!🛻Take care!🌄

Just curious as to why Canada’s national anthem was sung before the good old USA?
They said it is customary for the guest country anthem to be sung first in this types of events.
From the video it looks like the us flag was raised at the same time as the Canadian flag. The American flag is always supposed to be the first flag raised and the last flag lowered while in the USA.

From title four of the US Code regarding flying flag:
(c) No other flag or pennant should be placed above or, if on the same level, to the right of the
flag of the United States of America, except during church services conducted by naval
chaplains at sea, when the church pennant may be flown above the flag during church
services for the personnel of the Navy. No person shall display the flag of the United Nations
or any other national or international flag equal, above, or in a position of superior
prominence or honor to or in place of the flag of the United States or any Territory or
possession thereof
(e) The flag of the United States of America should be at the center and at the highest point of
the group when a number of flags of States or localities or pennants of societies are grouped
and displayed from staffs.
I love Canada - but I love and respect the flag of this country more. Having been born in Iowa I am appalled that someone in Forest City decided to give Canada top billing - in direct violation of the US code.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one that notice this. I don't bash any country but if you are here, and on US soil for any length of time it should be the American flag first. I come from a long line of military and have stood up for this more than once and took a lot of guff for it, but I will continue to support Old Glory.

Some fulltimers get a lot of value by rejoining lifelong friends
As someone who has never been RV'ing, I was just thinking, this type of event would be a perfect place for someone to go and learn and talk directly to seasoned RV'ers who can answer questions. As someone with health issues, there are so many questions I have that don't even come up for healthy folks. So an event like this could be a great value to many.
@@TravelingRobert I understand that aspect, but most of us are not full time and have not spent enough time in campgrounds to make even a passing acquaintance.
I just prefer spending my limited vacation time elsewhere. I just find the whole experience odd, cheering the company who made your camper???? I guess there is gm, Ford, dodge and Honda fan groups, so i guess it works for some.
@@susanbeth74 be vary wary of any information shared by "more experienced rvers". There is a lot of context that should go with their answers. Rarely is there just one correct or best answer.
Hint you don't need a fifth wheel or even a 25 foot trailer
As a fellow with some health issues I can relate and with appropriate planning it is absolutely doable.

Hey Robert, happy Sunday! I've only spent a little time in Iowa--went to the State Fair in 2005 and had a blast. After watching this video it's clear that I need a return visit. There were some really nice cars at that show. Is that a '56 Buick at 4:20? I remember taking a family vacation in one and we had one of those window-mounted air conditioners (it didn't work very well at all!) I love that view from Pilot Knob with the puffy clouds stretching off as far as you can see. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the Lewis & Clark adventure...happy trails!
