Thank you for posting this. I visited Wednesday and wondered what some of the aircraft were. I must say that I was not as excited as you, as I had hoped to see more WWII bombers. Just 1 B-25 is nice, but not as exciting as B-17's, B-24's or maybe FiFi or Doc.

Thanks for your comment! I agree, I would've loved to have seen the B-24 and B-29 but Sun N' Fun posted on their Instagram story saying that both aircraft would not be attending due to maintenance. I'm hoping for better luck next year and that they will be part of the event.

@@AV8RLuca256 I heard both B-29s will be at Oshkosh

@@Mikeylikesit1968 Thanks for your insight! After doing some research I see that you are correct. Many aircraft weren't labeled so I appreciate your correction.

The Yak-52 listed was actually a Chinese CJ-6, easy to confuse for a Yak but just wanted to point it out 👍

Thanks for your comment! I appreciate your correction and agree it was easy to confuse, there weren't labels on many of the parked aircraft.

Came for the cool planes. Left because of the ungodly loud music

The main reason I came was for the Connie, but it was not there on Saturday. Also, They yelled at me four times and would not let me take photos - the only reason I came. I have a five-pound telephoto lens that is impossible to use following fast jets while sitting down. I stood up against a wall and made sure nobody was behind me, but they still kicked me out of the seating area I paid $35 extra for! I had no trouble last year, but I am never coming back to this shitshow again. Also the line for food was an hour long. I just gave up and went home. Here is some footage I got: th-cam.com/video/3jHOg685GCc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=MLMjMuZNtE5oaKZ4

You might be younger than me, at 60 y/o. This music, from the era, is not disco. To me, more mild techno. Not sure what it is called, but no, not disco from the mid 1970s as I remember. Not to upset, just wanted to put that out. As another said, no music, and live sounds, might have sounded better. Certainly the engines! That is music to me, especially the radials.

@@gregster1950 Thank you for your comment! The music is definitely not disco nor was I going for techno. It falls under the "generic/background" music that is not copyrighted so it won't result in issues for my video. I would have loved to include live sounds however, the wind was gusting 20 plus knots so all you would have heard was the sound of the wind blowing in the microphone. I completely agree with you that there is nothing like the sound of these warbird engines!

@@AV8RLuca256 Completely understand the use of music when ambient audio is not suitable for any of several reasons. There are times I must do that too.

Nice planes, thanks. That music was painful though.
